I went out to post a letter this afternoon and was out for about 15 minutes. On my return I experienced what I thought were ectopics with some very mild chest discomfort. I took a 1lead Kardia to check and was surprised to see the "Atrial Fibrillation" indication with a heart rate of 93bpm. The AF seemed to stop midway through the 1 minute ECG as can be seen below. The episode cannot have lasted for more more than a few minutes. This was very unexpected: I usually have episodes at night and never lasting more less than several hours. Also the ECG trace looks rather different from usual. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

I look forward to hearing the outcome of what looks an amazing moment of capture on your part. My EP loves my Kardia as it really does save them time and frustrations, along with us! Good luck.
I sent it off to Kardia for analysis and they advise that it shows ventricular bigeminy; I have sent the report off to my GP. I had this a few months ago but then had nothing for about two to three months. I’m still awaiting an investigation for suspected CAD, so this is a rather stressful period. Thanks for replying.
Hopefully you have a good doctor who will refer it immediately to the cardiologist and not have the red tape delay as you have something as proof. I am very lucky as I have an email address for my cardiologist's secretary and they are very swift in addressing when I sent a Kardio report to them. Wishing you well.
Well - fascinating and always a but worrying when it happens, eh? I have had a few occasions when my heart goes rather crazy for maybe thirty seconds and my Apple Watch reports as "Poor Recording" even though it was accurate as I felt every bump it recorded. I've never been able to catch one on the Kardia yet.

HiOh dear it looks as if your heart was quirming!
You know that you need to keep still, no talking after resting from any exertion.

Well, I've recorded both bigemini and trigemini on my old style Kardia, and it's not looked as chaotic as that. It does look like AF mixed in. I concur with the others, your cardiologist needs to interpret it, and please let us know, if you ever get an answer!
It is sinus rhythm with pvc. It is not Afib. Some signs of ischemia too. On one lead it is tough to say what coronary arteries are affected.
Looks like bigeminy to me, two PVCs in a row, I had that early on in my ablation healing period. I felt light headed with it so hope you are ok. Great you caught it so you can share with your GP. As someone else said it is a sinus rhythm.
