Is this progression normal
My husband, diagnosed 2015, is really struggling. He feels rough all the time. Main symptoms are shuffling, stoop (causing back ache), balance, slowness and lack of energy so exercise is very limited. On Sinemet 3 hourly, Rasagiline 1mg and Madopar 62.5 daily + Neupro patch 4mg. Nothing new seems to

HELP!! Augmented on Pramipexole, put on Neupro Patch & seems to be getting worse
Hey guys!! So, I went to a Neurologist last week. Was on Pramipexole for about 15 years & started augmenting. Was up to .5mg 3-4 times daily. (Although the Neurologist said I could take up to 7.5mg daily š³š³š³). So, he switched me over to Neupro Patches last week which ticked me off in the 1st place

non-Parkinson' drug for dystonia?
Has anyone had experience with Baclafen, Tizanidine or diazepam for dystonia? Apparently these three are drugs for non-Parkinson's dystonia. I wonder if they might be an alternative to Neupro patches?

So this is interesting. I didnāt take my Sinemet this morning and thank God I didnāt because the constipation Iāve had from it has been so awful and actually gave me an impacted bowel so I did the next best thing and took a lovely suppository and that worked incredible magic needless to say. Sorry for

Does RLS ever go away? One week off patch and no issues
I was diagnosed with RLS about 2 years ago and Iāve been on 1mg Neupro since then, after trying another med that didnāt help. NEUPRO Pads and sleep can prove to be a very difficult combination
Many years ago I woke up one morning and felt in top shape, actually rested. What in the world has happened I thought? This has never happened before. Night sleep tends to be a nightmare. Later I discovered that the NEUPRO patch had come loose from the skin and was in bed. The next night I took off

Substantial Effects from Mannitol
My husband started Mannitol about five months ago. He has had PD since 2006, and the past 2 years has suspected dementia. He has stiffness, postural instability, gait issues, but no tremor. As a result of Mannitol, he no longer needs his Dopamine meds. Here is his current daily regime: 20mg numenda

Any DBS prep advice?
Hi! My dad is rigidity dominant. He experiences freezing when his meds are wearing off. He didn't qualify for FUS at Sonimodul, but my dad finally has his 2nd meeting with a surgeon, Dr. Munhoz, at Toronto Western Hospital here in Toronto. We have watched Dr. Mischely's PD School on DBS, and have come
