After getting pneumonia I was put on long term steroids of 30mg a day. That was nearly 3 years ago. I also have chronic ashtma. My weight has ballooned . My face all puffy eyes sunken . Cuts don't heal etc. I then ended up on vitamin c & d tablets . Montelukast at night . Anxiety tablets. A nebuliser

Severe asthma evolving to something more severe?!?!
Having had severe asthma for a few years I have recently had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts. As I was in the hospital I was outright told it was a anaphalaxis and a nut allergy. I had full body hives and gradually became breathless and very asthmatic the following day (ultimately I had to use

pulse oximeter - recommendations on good brands also welcome b) Piko electronic peak flow/FEV1 meter - my cons is in love with FEV1 rather than PEFR - I'm hoping being able to measure FEV1 at home might make him more comfortable with taking into account home monitoring. c) new filters for my Pari Trek

overuse of asthma meds = COPD?!
He has always taken his maintenance meds only upon the first sign of cold/flu symptoms and then his rescue inhaler (or
nebulizer
meds) as needed.

Just home from the hospital-advice please!!
Hi guys, So I went to the ER early Sunday morning because I was at a 90% position and took three breathing treatments but couldn't lay back at ALL. So they admitted me. It's weird because in some ways it went very smoothly- my pulmonologist showed up within a few hours and saw me every day, my GPs partner
