Ventoline and Atrovent evohalers
Ok new trial 2 vento puffs plus 2 atrovent puffs when I feel tight..see if that helps.😊 He is definitely against nebs, said it has been proven they have no added effects than inhalers and the aerochamber. 🙄 All that to avoid oral steroids in view of eye, bone, skin problems 😢 I hate plane pollen!

Chest infection/asthma flare-up lingering on
Hi, I'm new here, and struggling with a recent flare-up. I had asthma as a child/teenager, mainly triggered by cigarette smoke and colds, but seemed to 'grow out of it' after I left school. I've had very few issues as an adult and hadn't been on a preventer for years. But I started with a chest infection

PCD Management Advice
My children are on Hypertonic saline solution in
nebulizer
daily, physio, and azithromycin 3 times a week. However, they continue to get bad chest infections and most times it takes 2 or 3 weeks of Augmentin DUO to get them better again. And they always have a really bad runny nose and wet cough.

Elderly, advanced copd and vascular dementia
Hi all. My mum is 77, vascular dementia diagnosed 3 years ( although showing signs 7 years maybe) and also has COPD. When mum has an exacerbation her memory is extremely bad. Mum has had constant exacerbations since November. Chest X-ray shows COPD is advanced. Now on nebuliser daily and antibiotic therapy

Fixed Asthma
Has anyone on here been diagnosed with this, went to hospital to take part in research trial but when they did a reversibility test there was only 11% difference between pre nebuliser with oxygen and after, cannot seem to find anything readable on google just clinical spiel, they are writing to my docs

two weeks post esophagectomy
I'm doing okay but still having some trouble with breathing (was sent home with a
nebulizer
). No pain, per se. I'm on a feeding tube at night and trying to eat soft foods several times during the day. I don't have much of an appetite.

Introducing myself to the COPD community as a 'Newbie'
Hi everyone, My husband (65-year old, normal weight, normally physically fit and strong) was diagnosed with COPD recently following a lung function test. He then experienced his first exacerbation which we both found incredibly frightening so took ourselves of to St Helier A&E in the early hours of
