hope anyone can help as i get more confused by the week. My peak flow has not been above 320ish for weeks, i have even had an asthma attack in the past where pf400+ with no wheeze or chest crackles. Now i have both, tried and still taking fusimide 200+ daily with sevevent been back to doctors tonight he has now given me blood pressure tablets to lower the pressure in the lungs and i am now on ventolin nebs when needed which i might try a little morning and night to see whether this helps as i wake up in the morning sounding like a pair of old bellows on overtime!!

Oh Dear it seems you are going through difficult times. 320 is my best it used to be 360 and I also take a lot of meds. My physiotherapist is preparing me for winter but he said I need to muscle train to increase lung capacity. Swimming is good if you can stand the chlore.
Anyway I have a set of exercises to do at the hospital gym twice a week, treadmill 15mn they put a programmed key in, makes me walk up slopes😃 15mn bike, hercules 5mn, leg pressing 5mn, rotating handles 5mn, walking up and down steps 5 mn, elastic band 5 mn or 3 sets of 10 stretches.
My report was lung coordination improvement, they trained me to breathe in through the nose and breathe out on effort blowing a candle tucking in the perineum.
