Does anyone else have weird dreams ?
MY partner is experiencing weird dreams at night. Leaving him tired out and anxious. Not sure if this all part of the decompressed liver disease or medications or abstaining from alcohol? Is this normal?

Theoretical study indicates the most practical natural anti-prostate cancer compound is grape seed extract
B2G2, the most active ingredient of grape seed extract (GSE), can act as an agonist for PTEN. PTEN has a key role in suppressing PCa cells by applying phosphatase activity and inhibiting cell proliferation. Investigation on the mechanisms by which the herbal remedies induce anti-prostate cancer activity

Fatty Liver
hi all, i had ultra sound and Doc said it was fatty liver. I told him i was currently being treated for bladder cancer and he said I needed to go back to GP . GP has now done more bloods and i suspect she is testing for liver cancer. Initially I had an ALT of 37 and it increased to 52. All other liver

Hello, I'm new and have no idea how to start this without sounding negative. I was diagnosed with cirrhosis 4 years ago (I'm 32) I'm sober for over a year and a half now. I've been from recompensed to looking at a liver transplant assessment which I got declined from as I was too well and had to give

Renal Diet Confusion
Hello, apologies if this may be repetitive in the Group but I'm now about 3 months into my renal limited vasculitis diagnosis and one of the areas I find mind boggling is that of proper dieting. There is no shortage of information out there but a lot of it seems to
conflict.
Would be grateful

Running on Hope! - Fyi
It's live on Amazon my book "Running on hope", about how I have been managing my Parkinson's Disease for the last16 years, and the importance of lifestyle changes and it's impact on disease progression, with the detailed adventure of my FUS intervention on Switzerland. Cardiac surgery meds bring PSA down?
My PSA was 1.6 on January 8 of this year. On January 31st I had successful open-heart surgery to repair a heart valve. On March 7th, my next blood test, my PSA had dropped to .5. Has anyone here heard that this sort of drop after surgery is normal? Perhaps there are meds used at that time that could

I owe you an update
Many thanks to the members of this forum. FYI, I was diagnosed with a DRE last October, 2023. I had a biopsy in November and confirmed an aggressive stage 5, Gleason 9 in 6 of 12 cores prostate cancer. A series of scans did not detect involvement beyond the prostate. My PSA was 9 at that time. I began

Transplanted liver now in trouble?
Hi All My husband had a liver transplant in 2017 and has been mostly well since. He had NASH cirrhosis and liver cancer. He had a set of bloods on Monday unrelated to his liver but his liver function was tested. We were called the next day as ther were some surprising results which have worried him

Just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about Allograft. My husband has just finished 2 yrs on ventaclax, all blood's good, and we expected to just go away and go back for blood's until maybe time for a different treatment, but was told they would like us to have a chat to a specialist about allograft

Weird liver fibrosis blood test
Feaking out: Liver Firbrosis Blood Work 11/23 FibroScan Score: 4.9 kPa CAP Score: 280 dB/m Doctor note: The FibroScan Score is reliable and consistent with liver scarring at a Metavir Stage F0-1, consistent with minimal to no fibrosis. (have had three previous fibroscans with similar results). Just

first time on here
Hi! I am a 35 year old female. I was diagnosed officially with PBC at age 25. At this point in life I had a biopsy and found out I was already stage 2-3 fibrosis. Jumping forward ten years later I am now at the last stage and officially at cirrhosis. I have many symptoms now caused by the cirrhosis.

High ALT and Bilirubin and worried
my āurgent bloodā tests have come back and I am stressed to pieces as following my ultrasound I was told I had a fatty liver. My LFTs were all normal apart from my ALT which was 45 and needed to be less than 33, and Serum Bilirubin which was 27 and should be less than 21. Both readings end of March
