Diagnosed 5 months post Operation with Fluid on the lung. Is this normal & will it clear up? Should I be concerned?
I'd a lower left lung
lobectomy
last November and recently had my follow up appointment which will be annually from now on. I was told by the registrar not the consultant that I'd fluid on my lung. I wasn't told anything more than that & what this entails.

Given clear ct scan but it wasn't true
I had a
lobectomy
last March, 20mm metastases after bowel cancer. Got follow up ct scans May 22 and August 22, told they were completely clear. Had ct scan Feb 23, told chest lymph nodes enlarged. Asked for copy of ct report and the lymph node issue was noted in the previous ct scan.

Poor immune system since lobectomy
Hi, I had a lower right
lobectomy
last January and despite recovering well - back in work 4 months after the opI am beginning to struggle. Every time I get an infection or cold my body seems to refuse to fight it like it used to, I’ve even had Bell’s palsy. My immune system feels like it is shot!

Never ending pain.
I ended up with Pneumonia and the tumour was seen again and I had a
Lobectomy
. Almost 5 year's on and because I was left for 15 month's with cancer and no treatment, I have been left a physical and sometimes a mental wreck!

lobectomy
any day now. Tumour Stage 1, 2cm. Found on scan after bad fall. Nervous to say the least, anyone here had

? Am in NZ, care since finding tumour 8 January has been amazing. To say I’m glad I fell is an understatement! PETscan shows this tumour is only intruder 🙏🏻

I had upper left
lobectomy
November 21 which went well and no further treatment required so feel very lucky. The cancer was discovered by chance following an X-ray for something else. Since November 22 I have suffered continuously with chest infections, one after another.

I also have Bronchiectasis and had a lower left
lobectomy
in Oct. 2019. My excuse for not posting more is that I am a mom of 3, I have a job, my clinical rotation, and school! Someday I hope to post everyday.

Immunotherapy
However they are going back to the two hospitals, one who did
lobectomy
and one who did a wedge resection to get the tissue which is kept there. I have been told that all my tumours are primaries and not related.

Ongoing breathlessness and exhaustion
Upper right
lobectomy
in June last year. Initially did very well and was approaching a good level of fitness. Since October/November I have experienced increasing breathlessness, absolute exhaustion and some lightheadedness/dizziness when I become breathless.

Hoarse voice after thyroid surgery
Hello - I am 28 years old and I had a diagnostic thyroid
lobectomy
(right side) 5 weeks ago, histology results found it was follicular thyroid carcinoma but thankfully MDT concluded it was non -invasive so no further treatment has been recommended at this time.

staples coming out from the colectomy stump!
I had a colostomy due to CT scan showing holes in my colon and abscesses on the wall behind. I began to have clear fluid leaking from the stump like a running faucet! I told the surgeon about it and he simply shrugged his shoulders and offered no advice. The leaking fluid stopped for a month. Now

solitary lung nodule. Experience or literature about thorascopic lobectomy, no biopsy yet?
We were expecting to hear biopsy but were surprised to hear they were sending him directly to a surgeon for a
lobectomy
. They are scheduling a FDG PET.

Recurrence of lung cancer?
I had to go to the Dr. today for a few reasons but I have been having similar symptoms to the one's I had before my
Lobectomy
and I am now waiting for an Xray. I am also due to see my cancer Specialist Nurse in January for my 4 year scan. How often does cancer return after a
Lobectomy

Severe breathlessness
I had robotic surgery upper right
lobectomy
in June this year. Initially I made a good recovery and after about 2 months was experiencing hardly any breathlessness. However after about 4 months I have become extremely breathless on the slightest exertion eg getting up or talking.

Stuck!- Now Surviving on an All Clear Liquid Diet.
Hey all, I just wanted to post an update on my personal Colon Cancer Stage 4 journey. Things have taken a very strange and not good turn for me. I truly am very Worried and Concerned about the refusal of local Drs. to put a Stent into my Colon -(they all say I desperately Need!), so that I can go on

Life After Colectomy/Colon Resection Surgery
Hello, Could anyone please share about their experience with a colon resection surgery? Changes in urgency or incontinence or pain? What about eating? Can you eat seeds or nutshell, etc.? How long to heal? Thanks.
