Has anyone in HU heard of or is taking Atremo Plus for PD
This information was given to me that Atremo Plus is made up from the plant species Vicia Fab L and has nutritional benefits having concentrated L-dopa.

Update on Sinemet Nausea and Fatigue
I originally posted on this topic about 2 weeks ago (post copied below). I finally got in touch with my MDS at Northwestern in Chicago regarding this issue. His solution was to add an additional 25 mg carbidopa (take one with each CL 25/100). It took a while for the pharmacy to fill the Rx, so I just

Sinemet Nausea and Fatigue
I started Sinemet IR (25/100) on Jan. 16, 1/2 pill 3x/day. I was supposed to increase to 1 pill 3x/day after a week, but I've only managed a whole pill 3 mornings this week. I'm avoiding protein an hour before and after, so I've tried taking it with a banana, veggies, a couple of crackers, but I get

Effects on Parkinson's disease patients chronically treated with L-dopa
L-dopa is the most effective drug used to date for management of Parkinson's disease symptoms. Unfortunately, long-term administration of L-dopa often results in development of motor disorders, including dyskinesias. Despite extensive research on L-dopa-induced dyskinesia, its pathogenesis remains poorly

Niacin and Butyrate: Nutraceuticals Targeting Dysbiosis and Intestinal Permeability in Parkinson’s Disease
Niacin PD patients are found to have significantly decreased niacin levels compared to age-matched healthy controls [52]. This has been attributed to both the disease itself and the medication used to attenuate motor symptoms [58]. Sinemet, the most commonly used PD medication, includes carbidopa, which
