Trying to keep busy
I personally have problems getting motivated. I am watching too much rubbish on the tele, eating too many crisps and ice cream. I am about to run out of goodies. Hopefully my next Sainsburys delivery will have some of the treats I ask for. :) I am very lucky that I have a tiny patio and some pots so

CT Scan Results, New Medication :-(
Due to my cancer profile, treatment with: Ado-trastuzumab emtansine,
lapatinib
, neratnib, pertuzumab, trastuzumab would not be beneficial for me. (excuse the spelling, I don’t even know what these are, but they were on the report) An aromatase Inhibitor (by itself) would not be beneficial.

Target Therapy for NSCLC stage 3 with EGFR mutation ?
My husband recently had results confirming the re-occurrence of his lung cancer. As a second line treatment he is being offered a target treatment. His oncologist is trying to get a new treatment funded for him called Dacomitinib. Is anyone using this new drug, and if so how is it going so far? We have

Can I stop medication?
If I were to start taking Ibrutinib, or Dasatinib, xxxtinib... say for 6 months, and I decided to stop (arbitrarily decided) ... would I have made myself worse... than had I waited, say, 6 months? no symptoms or very slight, WW 4.5 years. 64 yo. I don't mean whether or not one is required to taper off

Hi guys. I'm Adam, I was diagnosed last April at the age of 37 with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which had spread to my spine. It was caught on an X-ray of my throat completely unrelated to the cancer. As a lifetime non-smoker it was a complete shock (and still is). Turns out it was due to DNA mutation). Ive

Gilotrif/Afatinib
52 years old and have stage 4 lung cancer. I am EGFR positive and have been taking gilotrif/ Afatinib for almost 2 months now. I was wondering if there is anyone out there on this drug and is it working? I will have scans again on the 17th. Of this month. I try and stay positive.

The status of liquid biopsies
(In breast cancer, a different EGFR blocker—
lapatinib
—is used for patients who have the HER2 positive subtype.) In the study, blood was drawn periodically and evaluated. After awhile, it became clear that somatic mutations were emerging which were not seen initially.
