Thyroid Meds Advice
Recently changed from NDT back to T4 due to not being able to tolerate the T3 aspect of NDT. Due to intolerance testing stating gluten and lactose intolerant (which I kind of knew anyway) received Teva Levothyroxine. Had previously been taking Actavis before the NDT which gave me joint pain, so thought

Hashimotos ....now gallstones
Hashimotos then gallstones Hello lovely people, I have had Hashimotos for about 12 years, could not tolerate Levo and began taking NDT about 5 years ago. Also now in the menaupause. My question is does anybody else who has Hashimoto’s and is hypo thyroid suffer from gall stones? Do these problems tend

RLC Labs have withdrawn Nature-Throid, Westthroid and WP Thyroid. All in one fell swoop! Help?
Can anyone help me find a good source of NDT or Liothyronine now that RLC Labs have withdrawn Nature-Throid, Westthroid and WP Thyroid. All in one fell swoop! I was then forced to return to Armour after many years, (despite the obscene price) and had a nasty reaction probably to one of the fillers -

I'm struggling without NDT
Hi everyone. Can anyone please DM me where I can order some NDT? I've been off it for 6 months due to the withdrawal of Nature's Thyroid and my symptoms have gotten so bad. My fibromyalgia has kicked off again and my overall mood is awful (although i know lockdown will have a lot to do with this). I

Increased my NDT by 25mcg, feel so shakey and weird! Will I be ok?
Hello! I increased my NDT from 100mcg to 125mcg, because my supplier only had this in stock, and feel so so off. I've only been doing it for 2 weeks so will cut right back, but can anyone reassure me that I will be alright? Feel so anxious, jittery, shaky and have diarrhoea.

Can I increase my NDT (labs included)
Hello :) I switched in December last year to NDT as Levothyroxine wasn't helping me at all, then I tried T3 only but it didn't seem to agree with me at the time, so eventually tried NDT and got to 1 grain. Did labs with Medichecks and got the below back: TSH 1.04 Range 0.27-4.2 Free T3 5.45

How long after stopping thyroid meds will it take for levels to settle?
I have been on thyroid meds for about 3 years now with little success and I kind of feel I am only taking them to chase numbers and keep my TSH down. I was taking one grain of Thyroid-S a day. which kept my TSH at about 2.8-3.0 T4 at around 10 and T3 mid range. I had experimented many times with different

Best way to swap from one NDT to another?
Hi guys, My current NDT is nearly at an end and I'm swapping to another. Is it best to do a slow changeover or just a straight swap from one to another? My last change was straight from one to the other with no ill effects. Thanks for any advice Kornish

Ideas needed to balance TSH and T4/T3 - something is wrong
My consultant thinks this is subclinical hyperthyroid. I have had hashi hypo for at least 17 years - probably 23. I now have problems with my heart (tachycardia, probably cortisol spikes taking it to 150bpm, and sudden drop offs to 33bpm, but I can't tell this is happening). I take 3 grains of NDT and

SOURCING NDT..
Good morning, has anyone had any luck with sourcing NDT at all? Specifically WP or Nature? I know it's been recalled, but also cannot get hold of any and it works so much better for me than T3/T4 combo.. If you can privately message me, I'd really appreciate any help please..

Has anyone else noticed hormone requirement changing once you reach end-stage Hashimoto´s?
I expected to required T3 and T4 at this stage, but not only do I only seem to require T4, but also lower doses now than 20 years ago when I was diagnosed. Back then, an ultrasound showed my thyroid gland was of normal size, but that there was already extensive damage to the hormone-producing cells.

Looking for suppliers of NDT
I was buying Thyroid-S from Thailand but since there’s has been supply issues, I can’t purchase. Does anyone know of other sources where I can purchase NDT inexpensively? I don’t want to go back to Levothyroxine.

I hope someone will read this message and answer me.. i was taking 1 (then 1,5 grains Natur-thiroid) with lots of ups and down. It’s me again! Sorry for deleting my previous post...
I didn’t want to upset users of Tru Thyroid. So guys and girls - tell me what you are currently using. I am back on levo and synthetic t3 that i stockpiled last year. This will have to do until i find a suitable NDT. I was a Thiroyd user and it suited me so well. Really do miss the feeling of being

Latest results show low TSH, high FT4 but have hypo symptoms, seeing endo next Monday
Hi, this is my second post on this forum. I need some help interpreting my latest figures from a prick blood test I did with Thriva. As they use wide ranges I've included 'normal' and 'optimal' ranges that they highlight in their results. I took this test on Monday 18 Jan in the morning on fasting stomach
