Chemydur - shortage isosorbide mononitrate
Has anyone else having the problem of not been able to get their vital medicines? I am on 60XL slow release Chemydur . Was told by boots chemist they are out of stock with both suppliers and told me to ask GP to get another brand. GP then says they do not know what to give me and to speak to cardiologist

Vasospastic angina (Coronary artery spasms)
Isosorbide
mononitrate
was added to the medication which seems to have stopped the regular attacks. However, ever since the initial episode I have been struggling with horrendous headaches, numbness of mouth, nose, jaw and neck on LHS and ptosis of the LHS eye.

worried for mum
She has a GTN spray but been prescribed bisopralol and
Isosorbide
mononitrate
. She’s not sleeping because of the arm pain and I feel the hospital are just not taking it seriously enough I am so worried she will have a heart attack. She has a 24hr ECG test today.

Quick question. Isosorbide Mononitrate.
After 2 trips to A&E and loads of tests I've been prescribed 60mg daily of
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
to control/prevent angina. Just wondering, from experience, how others have found this and how quickly it began to work.

Advice on chest pains pls.
In December after the HA I was taking
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
60mg but they were stopped in March after a heart Stress Test. In July I was prescribed Ranolazine 375mg by a cardiologist. It was helping and was increased to 500mg twice a day.

Change of meds
I have been taking
isosorbide
mononitrate
for coronary artery spasm but recently changed to amlodipine following the cardiologists discharge notes. Obviously I need to give the new meds time to work after 10 days of taking them. The symptoms still come and go and can feel my heart sensations more.

Isosorbide Mononitrate instead of amlodopine
hi, unfortunately my wife picked up my
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
tablets instead of her amlodopine tablets. She has taken the wrong tablets for 2 weeks. I do tell her to wear her glasses 😱 She has been suffering from headaches, swollen ankles and fatigue .

Worried
Anyway the consultant prescribed
Isosorbide
mononitrate
25mg slow release tablets one to be taken each morning, he said it could be one of two things (presumably what I have just mentioned) and that the treatment was the same for both?

Do long acting nitrates affect sleep?
I was prescribed
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
25mg by my GP for angina but I am worried it may affect my sleep. Has anyone else had an issue with it affecting their sleep? I took it once and got a horrible headache all day which didn’t even go away with painkillers!

Recurrence of coronary artery spasm
Suggestion is to add
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
to the daily cocktail.) 2. Can anyone recommend a specialist in the Cambridge area which understands this condition and can genuinely help? 3.

Doxazosin
I’m on
Isosorbide
Mononitrate
now and that has helped a bit. My cardiologist has just yesterday said to stop Clopidogrel (I take aspirin) . I did question why I was still on both a year after the events.
