Thank you
I would like to say thank you to everyone who gave me advice when I was feeling very low and thought my asthma would never become controllable again . Well after listening to you all and Persevering with my Symbicort inhaler, I am pleased to say I feel so much better I have even started swimming again-slowly

My Asthma
I have had my
inhalers
changed to Spiriva once a day and my seretide disk inhaler changed to puffer inhaler so I can use my spacer. I have now been seen at the hospital and they have recommended I see the physio and try some breathing exercises They are thinking it may be pollen related .

Puzzled by asthma symptoms and then no symptoms
Last year I suffered from symptoms that lead me to suspect late onset asthma. On several occasions I woke in the night with difficulty breathing. I was suffering from frequent coughing fits and on two terrifying occasions found my self gasping for breath after a short walk. Phone conversations with

International study suggests alternative treatment for mild asthma
“Short-acting beta-agonists, also known as rescue

New asthma nurse
Hi I have been for my appointment today with a different nurse as my usual one has been off sick for a while. She said to keep doing what I am doing now inhaler wise but is keen to get me seen by the respiratory specialist, as it appears things are uncontrolled. She said she would feel a bit happier

ARE YOU A NON TREMOR DOMINANT PD PATIENT WITH DYSKINESIA? IF SO, PLEASE HELP.
Hi, your suggestions would help a lot. I am beginning to have dyskinesia more frequently. Mostly worse at night. I take Rytary 3pills 145mg, (8am,12noon,4pm and 8pm). My MDS thinks it is motor fluctuations, caused by uneven plasma level of Levodopa. He suggested that I should add two more pills,

Oxygen supplement
Has any one used a non medical oxygen inhaler like clearc2. It has a face mask and you can use it in 10 second spurts, it does say not for medical use but it did help last night in the heat.

Chronic chest pain is making me crazy
Hello lovely people, I hope my cry for help is on the right forum. I've been having bad chest tightness and breathlessness for about 4 months now and it's progressive... Been calling my GP and going to a&e many times with chest x-ray, blood work, ECG results that were fine. No spirometer test as gp said

First time pregnancy, been sick everyday+ asthmatic
It's my first pregnancy and about 8weeks now. I'm really worried because i have lost my strength since week 4. Couldn't resume new job because i can't tolerate few minutes walk to the train station anymore. Although I'm asthmatic, I have had an attack almost twice a week. Now, I'm mostly in bed, trying

Long-term asthma recovery queries
Hi all, I suppose this is a general question about long-term asthma recovery, as this is uncharted territory for me. Or if it's even asthma-related. In May 2020, I had several asthma attacks, which heavily restricted my mobility for the remainder of the year. I used to go to the gym twice a week, play
