Inflectra

Hi all has anyone been on inflectra infusions. If so how did you get on with it.

I've found out today, after 16 years on Remicade, they changed it last week to Inflectra without telling me. Has anyone else been switched like this? If so, did you notice any difference? Thanks Ruth

I was so hopeful that biologics were going to work for me but have tried many meds these last few years that have not worked - Methotrexate, Simponi, Embrel, Otezla, Inflectra.

has anyone had swallowing difficulty caused by an infusion such as infliximab or inflectra? I've suffered for 2 years and its HORRIBLE

Eventually they approved inflectra and it seemed to be my answer, I was slowly gaining weight, got off steroids for the first time in two years, was starting to have a real improvement in my symptoms.

Inflectra, marketed by Hospira and Remsima, manufactured by Celltrion, are essentially the same infliximab biosimilar of the original product Remicade, made by Johnson & Johnson.
