What’s going to happen to me.....
My other half and I are awaiting
icsi
. Our next appt in Glasgow (NHS) is our post screen where we will be told of our protocol etc. Our issue is hubby. I’m just curious about how people find treatment, how long cycles last, when treatment should start, how cranky will I get etc.

Heya xx I’m on 2nd attempt

To Endo Scratch or Not?
Earlier this year I went through my first round of
ICSI
. We were fortunate to get 1 embryo for a day 2 transfer, but sadly this did not take.

Fertility treatment abroad or uk??
I’ve just been diagnosed with Endometriosis and we have been told we need to go through
ICSI
due to partners problems as well. We were told we have to self fund which was pretty crushing to start with and is a struggle to fund.

3 day post EC update
They were able to do
ICSI
on all of them and 5 fertilised. Just had a call today to say 3 are good quality, 1 average and 1 poor. Transfer booked in for Wednesday morning. Since EC my positive attitude has gone out f the window and i am so scared and dreading every call expecting the worst news.

My egg vs. Donor?
We’ve been offered a 2nd cycle of
ICSI
on the NHS at no cost. As many of you know, during our 1st cycle there were communication difficulties in the lab resulting in IVF being conducted instead of
ICSI
. We are delighted that we have been given another chance.

ICSI - what happens for the man?!
Hi, Thanks to lovely people on the forum I started reading 'Get a Life' and they keep talking about the importance of the man feeling comfortable giving a sample. My OH has low count and as freezing kills up to 50% of the swimmers will he be able to use a frozen sample or will he have to give a fresh

Too scared to test!!!
Hi all, I’m on attempt no.2 at
ICSI
at Guys Hospital in London. This round has been a complete rollercoaster of emotions and happened so quickly! My OTD is Friday 22nd June and I’m too scared to do the test in case it is negative! It’s stopping me sleeping I just can’t stop worrying!

It's been a while...💖 Back on the rollercoaster! 🎢Any FET advice for returning to IVF please 🍀🤞 x
Our 1st cycle in 2015 was unsuccessful so we tried
ICSI
on our 2nd cycle in 2016 and were so lucky to get a BFP. Our beautiful daughter was born in early 2017 and is now 16 months old.

Donor Eggs?? 🍳
Hi All I’ve had 2 rounds of
icsi
with no success and have my follow up appointment on Thursday. I’m 42 and although my AMH was ok for my age I have geriatric eggs (their words, not mine🤦♀️). I have to be realistic that it may not work with my eggs and time and money are running out.

Anybody used the Yorkshire Fertility clinic?
We're going to have
ICSI
and was wondering if anyone had used the same clinic and had any feedback/tips/advice please?

Follow up after 3rd failed cycle
Just had our follow up apt after another failed
icsi
cycle. I’m not sure how to feel after it though. It turns out that egg quality was very good (just not many of them this time).

OH nearly 6 months smoke free 😁
Our next appointment is end of July where (fingers crossed) we get our referral for a NHS funded
ICSI
cycle. Hubby will be 6 months smoke free by then 🤗. I'm feeling so much stronger and positive having followed lots of your journeys on here. It's been a huge help 😘

No fertilisation
They did IVF instead of
ICSI
. The lab people have tried to fob me off but have agreed to investigate and call me tomorrow. I’ve already emailed my consultant who has confirmed that they should have done
ICSI
. Has this happened to any one else? What happened?

Decision time: #2 with my eggs
It feels like we have been thrown a lifeline with a 2nd go on the NHS and it feels right to try again with my eggs with
ICSI
. Our nurses appointment to kick start the next IVF cycle is 30th of July so a little while away yet.

Experiences of intralipid infusions as part of IVF
We’re just starting (hopefully lucky) round 3 of
ICSI
and this time i’m having Intralipid infusions after some recent tests showed I have auto-immune markers & high levels of some natural killer cells.
