ACP196 and weight gain?
Has anyone experienced weight gain while taking this or
Ibrutinib
? I've increased exercise, deceased calories, worked with a nutrionist and the scale won't budge! I've always had weight issues, but with due diligence I was always able to manage it. Thyroid test ok.

We started failing on

in Nov. 2016 and by Feb. 2017 the progression was like watching Usain Bolt running the 100m in Rio - moving at its own pace and leaving everything and everyone behind. So what next??

Commencing Venetoclax
Hi all, My beautiful mum has started a trial on Venetoclax, after disease progression at 29 months on
ibrutinib
. She had a week between medication and the CLL was creeping up in the blood work, but also in a lymph gland, particularly one noteable on in the groin. Night sweats started.

Explainer: what is the blood-brain barrier and how can we overcome it?
As the article mentioned, small molecules can pass through the blood-brain barrier and
Ibrutinib
appears to have a promising role in treating CLL infiltration of the CNS: http://www.bloodjournal.org/content/127/19/2356?

Interesting- Food increases the oral bioavailability of ibrutinib - Up to 2x compared to taking after overnight fasting.
professional=1 ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: Food increases the oral bioavailability of
ibrutinib
. The mechanism of interaction is unknown. According to the product labeling, administration with food increases
ibrutinib
exposure approximately 2-fold compared to administration after overnight fasting.

Question about Ibrutinib/Imbruvica and Fatigue
I’ve been taking
ibrutinib
for 13 months; started just 3 months after my diagnosis due to 17(p) deletion. No idea how long I’d had it, no symptoms, enlarged lymph nodes showed up in a physical prior to THP surgery.

After you stop with ibrutinib - does Sll-CLL come back?
Now they want to give me
ibrutinib
. My question is: hoe long do you take
ibrutinib
? Can you stop with it or does the disease comeback back than very fast? Did anyone of you a kind of alternative treatment like hypothermie or CBD oil or diats?

Switching from Ibrutinib to Venetoclax
For those who have made the switch, did you need to take a break from
ibrutinib
before starting the Venetoclax, or did you just make the transition without one? Does it matter if you are switching because of side effects, or because of disease progression? Thanks so much!

Medicines to b avoided with Ibnutrib
Got following feedback on various medicine which shouldn't be taken with Ibnutrib: This website gives various interactions associated with
ibrutinib
. Alcohol avoidance is also recommended. Very importantly, things like Seville orange or grapefruit juice is a no-go.
