Ibrance

I’m on Ibrance and letrozol - the usual 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Last blood test WBC low. Any suggestions/experience about hair loss. Once it starts what to expect? Thanks for sharing. Kathy. Aka Sony camera

After 5 1/2 years success with Ibrance, only 9 months of success with Faslodex. Starting on Xeloda on a few days, any helpful hints and what to expect would be appreciated.

Hi, I’m taking anastrozole and Ibrance for almost 4 ½ years for recurrent uterine cancer and in remission. Side effects vary, but mostly the blood counts are affected. Anyone else on this regimen or another?

I was on leterzol and Ibrance for 3 1/2 years and kept well. Any suggestions what I should make sure we cover in the appointment? Think the move is to fulvestrant. 100% healthy and well apart from this darned cancer! Thank you lovely ladies!

I was switched from Ibrance/Letrozole to Verzenio/Fulvestrant. I started Verzenio 5 months ago and Fulvestrant 6 weeks ago (had my first three loading doses and my first regular 28 day dose is in two weeks.

I tested positive on Saturday on week off Ibrance and back on Ibrance treatment and injections on 29 th April so 10 days off from now. So hopefully all sorted, do feel a lot better but cough and shortage of breath still a worry with Covid. Take care everyone Debra. Xxx

So I've just found out (an hour ago via phone call) that I have my first progression...several liver mets after good success on Ibrance and Letrozole for bone mets, for almost 2 years. I'm devastated and scared. Onc mentioned chemo - I see her tomorrow. Any good stories with liver mets?

Hi Ladies- I am abruptly changing from Ibrance which I feel sad about as I had hoped to get 2.5 years like the median but have to move on after 18 months on Ibrance.

I have been on Ibrance for nearly 6 years and my onc is taking me off it...because of progression... I have had the Ibrance in 3 different combos , the last being with Faslodex for the past 2 years. But once again there is progression and we will be making a change.

Does anyone have information on getting Covid while on Ibrance and an AI and who has not gotten the jab? On the other side of the coin, anyone with information on Ibrance and an AI who got Covid with the jab?

I am newly diagnosed mbc - I am in my second round of letrozole and Ibrance and luckily doing well on these meds thus far. My question is, for any out there that still have college age children at home - do you allow your child to have a friend come visit at your home?

I’ve also got a meeting with oncology as I’ve been on Ibrance for 18 months and I think I may need to change meds, will this be seen as progression, not sure, I’ve requested a meeting with them asap..

I wonder why they would want me to do this trial, when there are many other options after Ibrance/fasoldex. I can't find any hard evidence or people with my dx. Nor any articles on any successful cases for my dx, let alone the chemo pill XL901. To me, something just is not right.

I’ve been taking Ibrance for only 5 months, together with Femara (letrozole), Zoladex (Goserelin), and Zometa (Reclast). I’m getting a lot of pins and needles, tingling, in my arms. It’s worse at night and often I wake up with numb hands and arms.

Ibrance Vacations? Thoughts?

Thought I could just take them with Ibrance but apparently not. I rang oncology to tell them I was taking them and they said omit the Ibrance the days I take them but then back on when infection gone.

I am now on my second line of treatment after Letrozole and ibrance. The have put me on Faslodex and Piqray. I did receive 2 shots of Faslodex while I was there however ai am not sure I will take the piqray.

I’m six months into my Ibrance. My legs hurt all the time, I can’t do anything for more than ten minutes and have to sit. This is getting very depressing.

I do have a question regarding Ibrance and letrozole combo. My mom has been on that treatment for 13 months now and it’s been working for her.
