Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis,
hypopituitarism
, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances.

Introduction
I'm 31 years old and I have Pan-
hypopituitarism
from a tumour that was removed when I was 9 years old. The tumour grew back two years later so I had radiotherapy. The tumour never grew back after this but I have to take replacement medication for 5 hormones for the rest of my life.

Is Low Reverse T3 good?
As my short synacthen test showed a normal response (with a slightly low cortisol level at the start), I'm wondering if I can make a case for
hypopituitarism
as my thyroid and cortisol levels have been low since I started testing 6 months ago, and now I'm showing low insulin.

Anyone being treated for central hypothyroidism or hypopituitarism in South West England?
But I want to see whether it could be something else, maybe central hypothyroidism or
hypopituitarism
. Many thanks for your help!

Our Story
The results came in the next day, diagnosing me with
Hypopituitarism
. This was in May 2017 and I was referred back to the NHS system the same day. I now take hydrocortisone, levothyroxine and HGH daily, allowing me to be able to start work again.

Hyperthyroidism and hypopituitarism: two incompatible diagnoses?
However, the reason I am posting is mostly to do with the comment that Graves (Hyperthyroidism) and
hypopituitarism
are not mutually exclusive. Just why would anyone ever suggest they are mutually exclusive? Entirely different mechanisms.

I might not be fine on T4 only after all
It is equally likely to be
hypopituitarism
(secondary) as it is autoimmune (primary).

Hello I've posted here before regarding my symptoms and blood tests pointing to secondary hypothyroidism or
hypopituitarism
...I've still got nowhere so I'm booking to see a private lady for thyroid and menopause...hopefully if I get to see her in January I'll still be as poorly as I am now so she'll

What an amazing day!
So I do not have
hypopituitarism
!!! They also did a dexa scan in May and he said all normal. Hips are low side of normal but no evidence of osteopenia!!! I had been told I had osteopenia - he was surprised when I said this, the consultant who told me said it was because I was overmedicated.

Hypopituitism mentioned on latest results
In the comments it mentions
hypopituitarism
. I’ve become very anxious with my Hypothyroidism. Is this a usual comment? Serum TSH level 3.05 mu/L (0.30 - 4.20) (JDW) - Normal TFT results indicate adequate replacement assuming that patient does not have

New diagnosis found. Probable secondary hypothyroidism. Partial hypopituitarism. Normal Pituitary MRI. ? second opinion. Further tests?
I appear to have partial
hypopituitarism
, with TSH deficiency, a low prolactin and, possibly gonadotropin deficiency, but pituitary function is otherwise normal. He said I was planning to purchase Liothyronine from Europe. He can’t suggest any other treatment. I saw named GP this week.

Pilot Neonatal Screening Program for Central Congenital Hypothyroidism: Evidence of Significant Detection
Conclusions: Adding T4 to TSH measurements enabled the identification of CCH as a prevalent condition and contributed to improving the care of newborns with congenital
hypopituitarism
and recognizing other thyroidal disorders.

Blood test result help
I suffer with
hypopituitarism
which was originally picked up when I went to a lipid clinic. I take 20mg hydrocortisone and 75mcg of thyroxine daily along with 5mg growth hormone and am also on hrt. I thought this would all help with my cholesterol but if anything it has got worse!
