Endometrial hyperplasia-Tamoxifen.
Today I had a follow up appointment with gynecologist to receive results and I have endometrial
hyperplasia
without atypia (this carries a very small chance of turning cancerous), with atypia carries a 40% chance. This for me has been caused by 2 years on tamoxifen.

Varicoceles?
A new paper [1] is the trigger for this post. "Varicoceles occur in around 15% of all men." [2] "A varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the pampiniform venous plexus in the scrotum." Nodular Regeneration Hyperplasia diagnosis (NRH) Diagnosis
hello well it looks as though the original cirrhosis comment was premature it looks like it is NRH a couple of more tests 3 phase CT liver scan and they want to wash out his lungs to get a sample, it appears they think it is secondary to another issue that he might have. my son is 28 and was diagnosed

Coffee and PCa question
There’s a lot of research (albeit a bit confusing) on the positive impact of higher coffee intake (3 cups or more) in PREVENTION of prostate cancer. (The confusing part is that it’s not good for you if you have BPH.) Anyone knows of any research for post-diagnosis?

Peri-Prostatic Adipose Tissue.
New review below [1]. Details are in the full text, but it's a reminder that visceral fat secretes hormones that can spur PCa growth. A number of studies have measured periprostatic fat thickness & found that it has prognostic value. Which implies that it has an active role in progression. "... several

Backdoor Dihydrotestosterone [DHT] & CRPC.
., the FDA has approved Dutasteride for the treatment of benign prostatic
hyperplasia
(BPH). Avodart is not generally used against PCa, because castration therapy is assumed to remove enough T, that DHT cannot possibly be a problem.

Bronchiectasis Crackles
It's difficult for a GP to detect any anomalies with a stethoscope due to the
hyperplasia
in my right lung, but I do wonder if I might have some fluid further down. Anyone else get these noises with bronchiectasis please? These are fairly new for me so I'm a little concerned.

Surprisingly, while NAC treatment decreased ROS levels in Nkx3.1 mutant mouse prostates, it failed to reduce prostatic epithelial

Rare Liver Diagnosis Following Biopsy - Continue Pain
Long story short, I received a very rare diagnosis of Obliterative Portal Venopathy (OBV) with mild Nodular Regenerative
Hyperplasia
. My doctor has never seen it before and we've been working with colleagues to determine next steps. There's extremely little research out there.

Complex hyperplasia, what’s next?
They did a hysteroscopy and diagnosed me with complex
hyperplasia
without atypia. They said the best treatment for this would be the marina coil, so they put it in. They said I had a lot of scarring and my womb and bladder were stuck together, however it was so bad the doctor couldn’t separate it.

Endometrial Hyperplasia— On Provera
I joined this group as I was looking through google regarding my issues. This year has been a horrendous experience on the gynecological side. I was bleeding with blood clots everyday. It was the unusual thing happening I had at least 4 transvaginal ultrasound which only shows thickened lining of endometrium
