Tocilizumab
Hi all, am due to have my first Tocilizumab infusion tomorrow (wednesday), as the
Humira
injections aren't working anymore and my bone density test was bad so they took me off the steroids which I have taken for 5 years and which have obviously been masking the severity of the disease.

Psoriatic arthritis
So no more
Humira
for me. Now on ciclosporin twice a day. Dmard number 5. I dont know why the change as nothing new has happened apart from more and more joints are getting painful but the only skin problem is a red patch from where I had a steroid injection 3 weeks ago.

Sooooooo Happy!!
I went for my appointment and the consultant was not happy that my doctor had emailed her, but, she said she was going to refer me for
Humira
, WOW! I thought, she said to keep my phone on me for the next couple of weeks as the hospital would ring with an appointment.

Another question about managing exhaustion and pacing yourself!
Hi everyone, I have had RA for 11 years and been on
humira
/mtx combination for the last 5 years. RA now well managed generally but I do have some damaged/fused joints and secondary osteoarthritis so sometimes bad pain from that but not the RA.

Is it down to cost or how server you have RA.

Another step towards anti-tnfs.
Now everything has to go off for approval and I will be contacted by the company that deals with
Humira
(anti-tnfs appear to be distributed privately, you can't just go down to Boots with a prescription).
