Fostair for asthna
I have just been put on
fostair
and would like some feedback from other people on
fostair
. It's to early for me to say if it works for me or not as this is the first full day on it. Appreciate feedback.

Increased mucus and steroid use
The only reason I’m asking this is because I have tested my FEV a few times since then and it seems to have reduced slightly (by about 5% pre bronchilidator, it’s the same after I’ve taken my inhaler) and I’m also less able to go without my
Fostair
than I was.

Recovering from flare up
On
Fostair
and Montelukast now as IgE levels were quite high and just waiting to get better. I'm just not used to the recovery phase of this. How long is a piece of string, but how long do you normally take to get over an exacerbation like I've had?

Post chest infection or asthma?
I have been having symptoms for nearly 10 weeks now and have had 3 lots of antibiotics 2 lots of steriods and my inhaler changed to
Fostair
100/6 which does seem to be helping. I don't cough at night very much now but am still breathless and extremely tired.

Fostair versus Seretide?
on Wednesday and he suggested a change of inhaler to
Fostair
MART from Seretide. Although I have been having a very tough time lately Seretide has always worked for me so I am doubting the change.

Exercise/vetolin & fostair?
It seems the reliever in
fostair
doesn’t allow the normally great ventolin to work. I can’t begin to explain the frustration. My usual endurance level even with asthma is quite high but now it’s low because I do not have the lung capacity on
fostair
.

COPD review
My new one is
Fostair
. Apparently, because I've been hospitalised once and had 3 chest infections within the year, my COPD as worsened. I was not able to do spirometry tests, because you need to have 4 clear weeks off antibiotics, and I haven't. Is this normal peeps. I now can't get my mucus up.

I wonder if the
Fostair
inhaler is making things worse as I have packed on weight since I started it. I hope someone out there can give me some hope.

Hello, newbie here
Had inhaler changed from Symbicort to
Fostair
, which is easier to use, but still using Ventolin multiple times per day. Dreading going back to work tomorrow as not easy to whip my inhaler & spacer out to use. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading. Wishing everyone a healthier 2018.

Return of chest tightness.
I take it in the morning It works for a few hours but by mid to late afternoon it starts wearing off and the
Fostair
isn’t working as good as it was. Infact yesterday my chest was really bad I must have used
Fostair
about 10 times.

Fostair, sereflo v seretide
earlier in year Asthma nurse tried to swap me to
fostair
but too many side effects. Recently the pharmacy lead from CCG swapped me to Sereflo. Been on 2 weeks of steroids and chlarythromycin due to exacerbation of asthma...... coincidence?

Advice please - after attack/steroids - what next?
I saw my GP the next day - I'd recently had my meds changed to
Fostair
and hadn't been getting on well with it. I have gone back onto simbicort and had 6 days worth of oral steroids.

Fostair side effects?
Hello to everyone, Has anyone had an increase in blood pressure and headaches after taking
Fostair
? I was prescribed it in the summer (after finding I didn't tolerate symbiocort). Saw my GP recently and she did my blood pressure and it is much, much higher than normal.

Feeling like ground hog year! (I do have a question...)
After 2nd A&E visit (after yet another cold) I was put on
Fostair
which has helped but once September arrived I got yet another cold and December started the last three.
