I have heard that fostair inhaler puts weight on, has anyone found this with them

It depends how long you take them for. Some people seem to have a problem with gaining weight if they take high doses for a long time.

I have not had any problems with weight gain having been on Fostair for a few years now. On the high dose, two in morning and two before bed. So worth a try as it seems to work well for breathing. Everyone is different and steroids can have that side effect. I do put on weight when taking a course of steroids but the surplus goes away quite quickly if I am careful to watch what I eat after completing the course. I have had a life long struggle with weight so probably have a lower metabolism than average.

As others I have been on fostair for a few years and have noticed no particular increase in weight but think it is brilliant for breathing so even if it did - no contest xx
