Asthma advice
I've had my medication changed to 1 x
fostair
100 in the morning and montelukast in the evening to clear the cough/mucus. My peak flow is still around 350 - 370. 370 is the odd day at best.

Detoxing off steroid inhaler... Fostair?! Anybody had experience of this?
Hi All, Does anyone have any experience of coming off steroid inhalers particularly
fostair
, it didn't agree with me at all, so had to come off it after taking doses for 2 days, but breathing has become quite difficult, which it wasn't when I went on it and I just used to take the blue ventolin inhaler

Hi, Can anyone advise me on using a spacer with Fostair please
Also does anyone know if it’s ok to use
Fostair
while taking Losartan for high blood pressure or should I check at the pharmacy. Thanks 😊

Covid and breathing
I take 2 puff twice day of
fostair
100 and Also take Montelukast at night. The only symptoms I’ve had so far is dizzy head dry nose chesty cough. Feel ok in the day it’s the dreaded night I can’t sleep I feel as though I can’t breathe. My lungs hurt too .

Quick question
I’ve been taking
Fostair
inhaler with spacer for nearly a week now, I think it is helping so far, although it made me shaky the first few times of taking it, and I get a mild tickly throat. I also have ventolin as needed. 1.

Changing to Fostair
I feel so pleased that I’m now going to be given
Fostair
on a MART regime (is this the right word?) and have the chance to hopefully change things for the better.

Fostair Nexthaler
The GP visited me the other day and said he thought I had late onset asthma and gave me
Fostair
Nexthaler to try and I've to phone him in a couple weeks to let him know if there's an improvement. I've to do two puffs mornings and evenings.

Asthma control post covid - are my expectations unrealistic?
I am currently on
fostair
2 X 200 am and pm, braltus, montelukast, cetirazine, dymista and ventolin. I've had 4 short courses of pred since April and am now on a one month reducing course.

A bit fed up
Since then I’ve accumulated medications - now on
Fostair
200/6 2 puffs twice a day, montelukast, Spiriva Respimat, Uniphyllin Continus 500mg a day and Ventolin as a rescue inhaler.

Struggling with Covid and asthma.
This is despite being on 40mg of pred since Monday plus max dose of
Fostair
, Spiriva, montelukast and loads of Ventolin. Phoned 111 last night and they told me to go to A&E. Sats were 84 when after I walked in there but improved a bit when I had been sat down a while.

Expecting too much when I’m unfit?
I have been on
Fostair
100/6 x 2 puffs twice a day for around 3 weeks. Ventolin as my reliever as required. Overall I thought I was doing a bit better, apart from a saga with a smoking oven over Christmas and a cough on a night but nothing too bad.

Taking my
Fostair
daily, but literally on my ventolin every hour. Was so bad last night I had to sit upright until 630am. Have taken steroids, but the relief is minimal and short lived.

Peak flow meter measurement
In that case I am not sure should I take a extra puff of
Fostair
or not? I also read alot about peak flow meter and I saw that even in asthma attacks it could show normal results? How is that possible and what is the use of peak flow meter then?

Side effects - aargh!
This is probably a trivial moan - but I can’t pay a cheque in using online banking app because it’s now 4 hours after my morning doses of
fostair
200/6, Spiriva respirated, montelukast and uniphyllin continus 300 and I’m trembling so much that I can’t hold my phone still enough to take photos of the
