Formoterol

Fostair: beclometasone dipropionate, formoterol fumarate dihydrate Trimbow: beclometasone dipropionate, formoterol fumarate dihydrate, glycopyrronium bromide

I've just been prescribed a new inhaler called Fostair (Fostair 100micrograms/dose / 6micrograms/dose inhaler (Chiesi Ltd), ASTHMA: (beclometasone dipropionate / formoterol fumarate).

Edit: The inhaler is called Fobumix inhaler powder. 160 micrograms / 4.5 micrograms of budesonide / formoterol fumarate dihydrate.

immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent ventolin doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising, swimming or walking, I’d need ventolin but found it wouldn’t work if I was also taking formoterol

Can anyone advise me of any other inhaler that does not contain formoterol fumerate as this would be a really big help. Or any advice you could give. Thank you 7974pam

Sadly, Flutiform (Fluticasone / Formoterol) is no longer available in South Korea, and it doesn't look like it's coming back.

Hello Has anyone had problems with the Formoterol in Fostair MART therapy (100/6) x 1-2 puffs x 2 daily. I was changed over to this in August last year as was not fully controlled on Clenil/SABA.

Eplerenone Formoterol Nebivolol. Apixaban.

Good morning I have seen some really good reviews on the inhaler Trimbow today but am reluctant to try it as whenever I have tried an inhaler with formoterol n it I have had problems.

I'm on formoterol and formoterol with a steroid. I don't take the steroid one every day because I'm a singer. Any comments about a) why my peak flow is dropping so, and b) more effective medication? And should I be as concerned as I am about my peak flow dropping? And why am I so tired?

Hello there, I still have not had a diagnosis for my bronchiectasis like symptoms; my chest x-rays showed scarring in march, but are now all clear now. Since my last serious chest infection earlier this year I have been perfectly healthy, active, cough and asthma free, only taking Fostair 100/6 four

I've recently been switched to Fluticasone 250/Formoterol 10 (2 puffs twice a day) which I believe quite a strong steroid dose with a LABA agent.

I've tried a variety of other inhlaers over the past year: Q-var, Pulmicort, Seretide 50, Flixotide (with and without either formoterol or Salmeterol). None of them work anywhere near as well as the Fostair. Thus, I'm at a bit of a dead end.

It could be complete coincidence, but my asthma is being an absolute pain and not responding as well as normal to ventolin (though interestingly is responding to extra formoterol). I am wondering if there's a link, as my asthma has otherwise been pretty good for the past few months.

I know the Formoterol side of the drug is a long acting bronchodilator but I was wondering if being on these, long term (or any term) has an affect on albuterol effectiveness? Does anyone find that the albuterol feels less effective?

I made an appointment with a pulmonologist, had a blood test, CT scan of my chest and the doctor said it's most likely asthma and prescribed me with Ventolin inhaler, a Budesonide/Formoterol inhaler and aminophylline pill. I took the Ventolin inhaler 3 times a day-1 puff.
