Out-of-hours doctor has just said that my son's asthma is ""a little brittle"" - help!
Anyway, the nurse and I had planned that if the flixonase nasal spray didn't really make a huge difference then we were to increase his
flixotide
dose - which we were going to do this morning.

Pollen season - yikes!
Her consultant was hoping to halve her
flixotide
to 1 puff twice a day at the end of this month but I don't see that happening now she's on ventolin most days again. Nearly had to use her neb on Sunday. Thankfully the singulair works well with her.

Back on azithromycin
My little boy has been gradually reducing his meds to see if he could hold on lower doses....but now
flixotide
has been put back up and it looks as if he'll be back azithromycin.

Questions!!
He is taking salbutamol and
flixotide
. We think his trigger is viral as the second episode started with the onset of a cough and cold. I am keen to know whether I am being hopeful in thinking that whilst he is free from colds he may stay asthma free, does anyone else have similar experience?

Daughters asthma seems to be getting worse instead of better
Sarah is on
flixotide
, salmeterol and salbutamol. She is needing her salbutamol quite a lot (up to 5 or 6 times a day) her peak flow is also low and my friend mentioned to me that she does not seem to be able to blow very hard on her spacer to get her medication to her lungs properly.

Child newly diagnosed and we're struggling
We saw a Paediatrician this week who has changed the Becotide to
Flixotide
and also prescribed a nine day course of oral steroids (40mg for 3 days, 20 mg for 3 days, 5 mg for 3 days) which from what I can see is pretty aggressive. Today she is wheezing badly.

Snoring
I phoned the cons and told him and he decided (rather irrationally I thought) to take her off the seratide and put her back on
flixotide
. I wasn't very happy but agreed to try it for a fortnight to see if the headaches diappeared.

Help not sure about my childs perscription
Hi Does anyone know if
Flixotide
would clear up green mucus from my child's nose? She has had this mucus for months and months and the doctor said
Flixotide
would help. I'm just confused as I thought it would be if she had bad asthma but she only has asthama when she is really poorly. Many thanks

hyper reactive airways?
more recently (having done PF's and tried ventolin) he has now suggested
flixotide
125 with success, this gave her quite a bit of relief and labelled it ' hyper reactive airways' not asthma or is that another way of saying I don't know?

Reducing my son's steroid daily dose and now I'm feeling a bit wobbly....
Now that my son's asthma has been really well-controlled since starting on an anti-histamine a month ago, the resp nurse and I were in agreement that we should try to reduce my son's steroid daily dose of
flixotide
from 150mcg/day to 100mcg/day (as this was only increased to 150mcg/day because he couldn't

Breathlessness
She has 4 puffs of atrovent a day, 2 puffs of
Flixotide
and then Salbutamol whenever she needs it. We've come a long way since she was first diagnosed but over the last few months Holly has been getting very breathless.

New- Son recovering from severe acute intractable asthma requiring ventilation and dnase
He was on
flixotide
until he was 7 and since then had not had any symptoms or treatment. So this episode was a huge shock. Has anyone had a similar experience? We are so grateful that he survived.
