New here, 35yo Male, diagnosed with Adult onset Asthma, but concerned it could be something more serious.
Roughly two years ago I noticed bouts of severe shortness of breath, frequently coming while at rest and after eating, lasting for hours. The house I was living in at the time had a bad damp and mold problem, which I suspect was the cause of whatever now plagues me, as I'd never suffered from shortness

Is it reallyCOPD?
Just few days ago I had breath

increase in PVCs
I notice an increase in my PVCs upon rolling over or changing positions while in bed. Has anyone else noted this and,if so, has he/she been given an explanation of why positional changes provoke their PVCs?

Return of PVCs and Flecainide as pill in pocket.
I was previously taking 100mg Flecainide twice a day along with 1.25mg bisoprolol in the mornings for episodes of PACs and occasional PVCs. I was on this medication for almost 2 years before deciding that I would like to try and come off it. My cardiologist advised me how to slowly withdraw and I have

Multiple unsuccessful ablations.
Has anyone had 5 or more ablations? I’ve had 5 and still having pvcs and afib. 3 were at Cleveland Clinic.

Pulsed Field Ablation in Australia
I just had my six-month checkup with my electrophysiologist. He was quite excited as our local hospital is commissioning a pulsed-field ablation system in 4 weeks time. Much safer than RF or Cryoablation. This video from Medtronic explains the pulsed field technology: https://youtu.be/rH8SvEq398M I

Ablation/S-ICD Recovery Time - why is it taking so long?
Bit of a long one… Hi all, I’m currently recovering from a 4 week hospital stay and struggling with the recovery period. I was admitted for investigation due to a high burden of PVCs which were making me very symptomatic. I had a previous diagnosis of low burden of PVCs, as well as mild dilated cardiomyopathy

edoxaban halving tablet
I had an AFIB incident picked up on an Apple Watch. At an appointment I was given an instant ECG showing no afib and then a 24 hour halter also showing no afib. I bought a wearable ECG device and I wore it for pretty much a year and I’ve had no incident of afib, but plenty of pacs and PVCs. An EKG showed

Been having panic attacks and severe anxiety for a few months. Started of that I noticed pvc, and they where many. Did all the heart checks, and had 12% when tested. Eventually the doctors couldn't find anything wrong even though i had chest pains, diziness, fatigue, attacks every single day. But all

Question about “other arrhythmia”.
my Kardia is giving all sorts of new readings since my flair up, ectopy, wide qrs, pvc, pac basically everything BUT NOT SO MUCH AF. do you have other arrhythmia? if so how does it affect you? for me it’s just as uncomfortable as the regular af

Changed my cardiologist ;)
sadly, I have decided to change my cardiologist. The guy who did my ablation in 2015 retired from surgery and opened his own cardiology clinic. I thought about changing to his clinic, and switch from my old clinic a year ago. After a bad experience their (being mocked by the receptionist for forgetting

Newbie looking for tips and info please
Hi I am new to AF on this forum. The forum looks good and I am impressed by the quality of the posts and answers. I have been on Healthunblocked site in the section for MPN (Polycythaemia) and Thyroid for many years and I am pretty knowledgeable medically as I have Polycythaemia Vera and Hypogonadism

Can you tell me what is this new symptom?
Hi once again. Just now I've noticed and felt a new type of heartbeat. My heartbeat was two beats -> pause -> two beats -> pause. Can someone tell what this is? I see a mention of bigeminy or pvc's. I'm currently almost a month post ablation. I didn't have afib episode since December. This is a first

Frequent PVCs
Does anyone with longstanding frequent PVCs know if they are multifocal and emanate from both right and left ventricles?. If so, can they determine what provokes the PVCs from the right ventricle vs what provokes the PVCs from the left ventricle?

going back to propranolol after diltiazem
hi there i Hope it’s ok to post here because ive also posted in the AF forum but I could really use some advice asap. I was on 80mg slow release propranolol for a few years and recently my PVCs have become very very frequent. Had all test and cardiologist said benign PVCs and I could try diltiazem

CCB to Beta Blocker
Hi there wonder If anyone can help me? I posted the other day about swapping from Propranolol to Diltiazem to try to stop my PVCs. I have been prescribed 60mg modified release AM and PM so 120mg per day. I took my tablet this morning and felt ok but slowly started to feel really anxious throughout
