Starting Casodex before Lupron
I had a BCR in Nov. 2019 = PSA 0.3, My PSADT is 1.8 months. My MO wants to start me on Casodex a month before my first Lupron shot. My 12/28/2019 bone scan results are due next week. If they're clear, MO wants a PET scan to see if it's in soft tissue. Is this the way to go? Thanks

Looking Back
I start by wishing everybody a very happy 2020! The last two years have been very eventful for me. In 2018, my prostate cancer came back quite aggressively. After my Cyberknife and a short ADT for my extra-capsular recurrence in 2016/17, my PSA started rising quite rapidly with a PSADT of less than

SABR for lung and mediastinal nodes, anyone had this done?
It has been suggested by my oncologist that I undergo the procedure so I could continue with Ibrance and
Faslodex
for much longer. He said though that the radiation may cause fibrosis.

Is it ok to get eyes dilated while on Ibrance and Faslodex
Hello all I'm on monthly
Faslodex
and on my second month of Ibrance. I have my annual eye exam on Tuesday -- I had retinal detachment twice in the same eye 10 years ago. I've had no eye problems in 8 years so these annual visits are check ups. Is it ok to get my eyes dilated?

Prostate Cancer Drug Could Protect Bone Marrow from Damage Caused by Radiation

Casodex and high PSA
I have gone through most of usual suspects of treatments (including all listed in the MDAnderson standard protocol for all stages) the last being NUBEQA which just last week left me with a PSA of 130. My problem is extensive lymph node metastasis. Will Casodex work on this and at what level? Does 150mg

Greetings of the Season
Wishing all the brave warrior brothers and their supporters a peaceful and joyous Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, or whatever they celebrate at this season. Faslodex??
I had a long talk with a doctor who specializes in bone Mets and he told me that he thinks that
Faslodex
might work for me and not make me as miserable as past treatments have done. I’m seriously considering it but need your opinions.

Oligometastatic PC and Radiation
Hello all. My 68 year old husband had a routine physical about six months ago that showed a PSA of 77. His PSA had not been tested for seven years prior (which infuriates me). He then had a biopsy that showed Gleason 9 (4+5) prostate cancer. Twelve samples were taken; only one sample was benign. Two

Faslodex vs Letrozole
Following up on
Faslodex
post by caw15. Why do oncs decide to switch from Letrozole to
Faslodex
? Is it because of side effects not as severe as Letrozole?
