Feeling Really down
Sorry, but a lot of members here will know that this is not me to moan. I've been in hospital with pneumonia, high heart rate and covid. It all started at the beginning of September when I awoke one morning with a soreness in my heart. I thought this is it I'm having a heart attack, dialled 999 and paramedics

Breathless and clammy
I suffered a heart attack in Spain on the 6th March 2022, I had 2 stents fitted as my right artery was completely blocked and my left artery was very narrow. I have recovered well, but just recently I have become breathless even when just having a conversation, also a feeling of being very clammy a few

Still not feeling 100% today, I’ve had chest tightness since 6am and had a dizzy spell just after taking g my daughter to school , I still have the fluttering feeling I’ve had since Thursday , out of curiosity I thought I’d see if watch showed anything (photos below). I had two vaccines last week so

Did I have a misdiagnosed heart attack?
I went to the ED a while back for flu-like symptoms and fever after a surgery. They admitted me due to elevated troponin levels (243) and tachycardia at rest (118bpm). I had an EKG, echo, and chest xray, but was only told they looked "fine". I was eventually discharged with the one word diagnosis "pericarditis

What happens next please?
Advice sought from those further on the path please. I had a successful cardio version in July after 6.5 months of high rate permanent AF not well controlled by digoxin, bisoprolol, furosemide, and apixaban. I was told to just stop the digoxin after the cardio version which left me on 10mg of bisoprolol

Heart Health Anxiety
Although I am taking meds for high BP it has been high (average 140/100) I have been having bouts of palpitations that have ended up with me going to A&E. The last 2 times, more or less a month apart, ECG and bloods were fine but BP was high. Meds have recently been changed 2 weeks ago and unsure whether

dealing with symptoms of low resting heart rate
Hi I have a low RHR (around 45), which lowers even during phases of my menstrual cycle (down to 35-37bpm). I have had an ECG which confirmed the low RHR. I wouldn't be bothered by it, but when my RHR lowers I experience dizziness, brain fog and significant fatigue. I have been to the GP repeatedly -

Heart flutters
All day I’ve been getting fluttering in my chest when I’m sitting down , I thought I’d see if the ecg in my watch showed anything up and at the times I felt the fluttering I had a few differences on the ecg to previous ones . If anyone is good at reading ecg tracings I’d be interested in what you think

Diagnosed today with Graves
HI Got a call this morning to tell me i have graves disease. Felt terrible since January - doc thought looking covid although hadn.t had it. Can barely walk or get up from sitting, had ecg and 24 trace as palpitations so bad. Seem to be one of the odd ones that has put on 14lbs rather than lose weight

Testing process - very stressful
Hi, I was told 7 days ago I may have AVRD and my right ventricular is structurally not working well. My left is good! This is a congenital defect. The words my cardiology used were this is serious, rare and complicated. I had a ECG and currently on a 7 day heart monitor. MRI next week. On beta

Palpitations V Afib
Hello everyone. I know some of you are pretty slick with your understanding of ECG readings and I am hoping you can help me with mine. Breathlessness
The bouts of breathlessness are back again, seen GP tonight possible anxiety causing the breathlessness. It's a vicious circle... Have to have ECG but only could get an appointment in a months time. It's ridiculous I'm going to be more anxious now waiting for the ECG appointment. ☹️

Erratic BP and Pulse measurements after taking Preds for 5.5 years and v slow tapering
Diagnosed w GCA in May2017. Finally, using the v slow tapering method, took my last Pred on Sep 13th 2022. Since then BP shot down to below 120/90. Mine has always been around 135/75 on meds. My pulse rate, normally around 75 shot up to 133. Is this to be expected? I’m having a blood test and ECG today

Advice on pausing statins
Hi folks, I've been doing well recently - changed cardiologist, had my meds reduced and excellent test results. All was looking good. Then I had to make a routine appointment with the cardiologist for a repeat prescription of Artorvastatin. I tried a few times to get an appointment but kept being told
