This morning I got a letter, who I am seeing this coming week , informing me that the result of my
echocardiogram

Leaky heart valve 'diagnosis!?'
I was quite taken back by this as I was expecting another normal
echocardiogram
. The GP says I need a 24 hour ECG in a few weeks and another
echocardiogram
in a few years. I have been awfully lightheaded lately to the point I am stumbling over.

Update on AF diagnosis
I had my appointment with the cardiologist following the
Echocardiogram
. This was a private appointment as the waiting list was 14 months! By way of background I had a 24 hour holter which showed "sinus rhythm with frequent ectopics/episodes of atrial fibrillation.

Diagnosis AF: Waiting list to see cardiologist 12 months; 14 months for Echo... suggests not serious?!
I telephoned the hospital this morning to find out how long I would wait to see a cardiologist and for the
echocardiogram
. I was informed it would be 12 months to see a cardiologist and 14 months for the
echocardiogram
as it was a 'routine' referral.

Funny
just stop at xrays ,blood work or MRI's...it could be their job to rule out anything serious at the moment ..but that's only for the moment, what else can they do , maybe look at other areas in the body..so your dizzy let's do a mri..then mri is normal oh you probrally just have anxiety.. or let's do

On that scheduled date a
echocardiogram
was to be performed, thereafter would have a the cardioversion. Well when I got there though they did the EKG & I was in NSR so the cardiologist canceled both the
echocardiogram
& the cardioversion. Said I'm good to go.

Heart failure
I really feel that I would like to have an
echocardiogram
before the ablation. I am now extremely anxious which is probably making things worse.

I also had an
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago that showed nothing wrong. So today I saw my doctor and he decided to run all autoimmune tests and I won’t get results back for a couple of weeks.

Could this be linked to hormone imbalance following hysterectomy with BSO? (9.5 months post surgery)
I have had an ECG, a 2D
echocardiogram
, a nuclear stress test, wore a blood pressure monitor for 24 hours and I am now wearing a holter monitor for 2 weeks. Didn't have any episodes during the first week with the holter but have been getting chest pains off and on since yesterday.

Wee update from mickmoo
I posted on Saturday as I have suspected heart failure and had an
echocardiogram
on Monday past. My appointment with cardiologist was supposed to be this Friday for my results. I received a letter on Saturday changing my appointment with cardiologist until end of November.

If You Want to Know Your Risk of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Stop Focusing on LDL-C, Instead Focus on Apo B & Apo A1 - the ApoB/ApoA1 Ratio
I just had another
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago and it confirms that my heart is operating optimally with no evidence of damage. I exercise daily including a regimen of 12,000 to 15,000 steps during the fall/winter and 15,000 to 25,000 steps during the spring summer.

I’m losing my mind :(
He’s done an
echocardiogram
, 7 day heart monitor and is talking about a steroid to raise my blood pressure, but saw no spikes in heart rate to support POTS.

Cardioversion
I have been diagnosed with Afib following a massive pulmonary embolism in April this year. Echo cardiogram shows no lasting heart damage ("surprisingly" the technician has put!) but all EKG tests show Afib present at all times. I am unaware of it, but I have to say I feel like I aged ten years following
