New to this- Mitral Valve Regurgitation
I was asked to have an
echocardiogram
which lead to them finding the leak. I’m only 20 and until the last 6 months or so I have not experienced any symptoms. The symptoms I currently have seem fairly minor, but are perhaps worse than I think because they’ve crept up on me.

Feeling Apprehensive about upcoming Valve surgery
After the surgery they decided to do an
Echocardiogram
just to check the level of regurgitation and the results were not that good.

Myxoma check up
Please could I ask those members who had Myxomas, did you have a follow up
echocardiogram
?

Possible pericarditis
Some doctors say it’s muscular pain, following a recent visit I’ve been advised to take ibuprofen for the pain and have finally been told I will receive a referral for and
echocardiogram
I believe.

Haven’t been well for 3 months, and endoscopy today was horrific! Does anyone else have these symptoms? Really can’t suffer anymore!
I got kept in hospital overnight as my ECG showed some arrhythmia so I had an
echocardiogram
done on my heart and that was gone so they ruled out anything cardiac after that.

Could this be a mistake
GP told me to shield because I have type 2 diabetes and there's a letter on my file saying that I have aortic stenosis which was diagnosed by an
echocardiogram
5 years ago but it's news to me. I have never been tested. GP is surprised that I haven't been monitored.

I also mentioned about the chest pain and he saw the results of last week’s
echocardiogram
had just been posted to my notes before my Rheumy appointment! Very timely.

Echocardiograms
My mum had a
Echocardiogram
on the 26th March and we still have not heard anything. How long do the results usually take to come back?

I'm afraid to keep running tests bc every single EKG/Chest XRay/
Echocardiogram
/Holtor Monitor has come back normal and both my GP and cardiologist have failed to find anything over past 2 months and don't want to seem like a hypochondriac.

CHEST HEAVINESS AND MINOR CHEST PAINS
Went for an echo two days ago and it revealed NORMAL
ECHOCARDIOGRAM
. Oh and am taking clopidrogel(In case of reduced blood flow) and bisoprolol(tachycardia). What could possibly be the reason?

Is it really asthma?
She said I should see a specialist because all tests I've done look fine: blood tests, X-ray, spirometry, ECG,
echocardiogram
. I'm also using a peak flow meter and my stats seem consistent, though there's a slight drop when I feel breathless (10-20%).

Feeling low
Last month I had a
echocardiogram
and got the results on tuesday. Ef down to 32% and there is some thickening. I was so shocked as I feel better than I did before my heart attack. The doctor is referring me to cardiac nurses to start entresto therapy?

Reduced ejection fraction & Atrial Fibrillation concerns
Hello, I'm not sure about my latest
echocardiogram
results showing reduced ejection fraction. But due to being in persistent AF and high heart rate, my letter states actual percentage difficult to note. Prior to this I've had different symptoms to normal AF but I've been ignoring them.

Chest/back pain with breathlessness. Any leads please?
An
echocardiogram
was requested and was eventually booked in for 19th march. No more issues occurred until 26th feb, when i woke up with a sharp pain in my back (near my left shoulder blade) and felt in left chest too, with breathlessness.

28 years old. Random chest tightness without pain the last couple weeks.
Back in February/March I had two xrays, an
echocardiogram
, ekg, stress test, and a two week holtor monitor performed, all of which came back normal and the holtor monitor picked up a few PVC's but nothing out of the ordinary according to my cardiologist.

Very confused hearing that I've been diagnosed when I don't remember having echo cardiogram.
I have type 2 diabetes which is well controlled by diet and exercise and GP told me that I had an
echocardiogram
in 2015 which showed that I had mild aortic stenosis. I registered with my current GP in 2016.

Just back from Echocardiogram
Hello Had an echo this morning Hospital very quiet, but Car Park full. The technician said he had seen me twice before now classed as a Regular LOL He couldn't tell me my ef as he needs to work it out, what he did show me was my 100% blocked RCA and the Scar Tissue on the Heart. Very very interesting
