Beware of ultrasound treatment for Parkinson’s disease!
I should add that the clinical trial’s primary purpose was to determine whether the treatment could help to prevent
dyskinesia
. I had started experiencing very mild symptoms of such involuntary muscle twisting, and the treatment did result in the disappearance of those.

Steroids to treat Parkinson's
My Neurologist admitted me into the hospital because Parkinson's had me shaking with
dyskinesia
and I had Dystonia unable to move at the same time. They gave me a steroid through an IV for 5 days and it has helped, but I feel dizzy and woozy

BioVie's Phase 2 Trial Assessing NE3107's Pro-motoric Activity in Parkinson's Disease is Fully Enrolled
Furthermore, in the marmoset study, NE3107 reduced the severity of levodopa induced
dyskinesia
(LID) concurrent with pro-motoric benefit and decreased neurodegeneration, preserving twice as many dopaminergic neurons compared to control.

Discovery of levodopa-induced dyskinesia-associated genes using genomic studies in patients and Drosophila behavioral analyses
Similar to the therapeutic effect of Ldopa in patients, acute Ldopa treatment restore the motor defect of Parkinsons flies, while prolonged treatments cause LID-related symptoms, such as increased yawing, freezing & abrupt acceleration of locomotives

Mucuna + carbidopa = vomiting? What's going on? Help please!
Also, I've never experienced
dyskinesia
with any of the drugs/dosages/combinations I've tried. I asked this same question about a year ago but never got any replies that helped me figure it out, so I just gave up on the carbidopa, but I'd really like to find a way to make this work. Thanks!

Lactobacillus and Levodopa
Has anyone seen the uTube video re the Gastro Intestinal doctor who advised against taking probiotics because of the adverse action of lactobacillus on Levodopa? I saw it recently and can't find it now - I am interested in reading further about the lactobacillus impact on Levodopa. I would appreciate

Is the "tetrahydrofurfury disulfide in (TTFD)" a B1 with a "DMSO" attached?
*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. *** I am not into chemistry. Asked another way: Did Japanese Researchers in 1951 attach a DSMO to a B1 to make it more absorbable to cure B
eriberi or were they trying to

Weighing tablets
This could show itself in not crossing the "on"/"off" threshold or in increased
dyskinesia
. It could also be noticed in term of a dose wearing off earlier. On a three hour drug cycle a 5% lower dose would finish about 10 minutes earlier.

Sinemet what is normal dose
MDS doesn’t want to increase Sinemet because I have
dyskinesia
as it is and people might notice my involuntary hand movements and I might be embarrassed. I would rather feel better during off times and not worry that what others think. I’m 138 pounds, normal BMI.

Has anyone experienced benefits from coq10
Dyskinesia
, which is an impairment of voluntary muscle movement, also markedly improved after "Deep Brain Stimulation" therapy.5,6 It might also be possible to treat Parkinson's disease by altering the genes in brain cells responsible for causing motor abnormalities.

HOW CAN I REDUCE MY DYSKINESIA?
I am desperate for suggestions on reducing
dyskinesia
. I have had gate and balance dominant PD for 11 years now and have always struggled with
dyskinesia
. Recently I had a fractured femur and am attempting to resume walking with the the help of a walker.

DBS Surgery #2, a personal essay
Not tremors, I can deal with tremors, they’re annoying but not painful; not
dyskinesia
, the herky jerky motions we people with Parkinson’s live with, again, annoying but not generally painful.

Olanzipine withdrawal
Anyway I hate taking the olanzipine, I'm so scared of the side effects, particularly the risk of tardive
dyskinesia
. I have put on weight too. I'm scaring myself silly googling about all the withdrawal problems. I've only ever taken 3.75mg but have reduced to 2.5mg 3 weeks ago.

Promoting Sirtuins is the target, NAD+ is the fuel
Known as the “guardians of genomes,” sirtuins are genes that protect organisms, from plants to mammals, against deterioration and diseases.
