Firmagon abdominal distention
Hey everyone, Is anyone familiar with a possible side effect from
Docetaxel
or Firmagon that would cause abdominal distention? My dad is suffering with distention and tightness in his lower abdominal causing great discomfort. Lots of burping and farting but really no relief.

Docetaxel and Carboplatin
I figured maybe this very informed and helpful community might have some information about
Docetaxel
and Carboplatin. When is it used, how are the side effects and so forth. Thanks so much!

Slowly Rising PSA
But treated with
Docetaxel
and Lupron. In March of 2019 started Zytiga. And in November started Xgeva. His Psa has been trending upward past two times. And Alk Phosphate going down. And in light of this Covid 19 it’s making me anxious. Any questions you think I should send his MO?

Chemo or abi in covid times?
My husband is due to start
docetaxel
for hormone sensitive PC which has spread to chest lymph nodes only. Due to start in 2 weeks. But with this virus this will be dangerous. Should we go for Abi instead? We would have to pay but can do so. Any views welcome. Thanks

Zytiga ineffective after 12 months
Initially tried
docetaxel
but had complications. What are the suggestions for my next line of treatment? My mother died of breast cancer, so I’m debating if genetic testing for mutated BRCA genes could help.

NEPC Treatment Update
There is discussion of chemo again (
Docetaxel
). This will be his 3rd round of chemo. He had
Docetaxel
back in 2017 when he was originally dx. They want to hit it hard and quick due to how quickly it is spreading. The cancer is taking its toll on him, mentally and physically. Mike is only 47.

Zytiga failed now xtandi. PSA rise after only a few short months from 1.5 to 0.08 now 0.4. Moving on up
I realize
docetaxel
is a viable option as well as provenge and perhaps clinical trials. Although it all seems a bit darker and less hopeful that I have months to live rather than years. I have a fear of chemo even though it ssems like some of you seemingly breeze through it.

Docetaxel and gout?
I finished my 8 infusions of
Docetaxel
6 months ago (PSA went from 450 to .008) but still have slight Lymphedema in my legs. Yesterday I developed a sharp pain in my right big toe. No redness, no toenail infection, no injury but the joint painful to touch.

Cervical lesion
After almost five years of slowly increasing PSAs (and failed oral chemo drugs), I finally got my first detectable lesion. It is on the posterior aspect of the 6th vertebrae. My question is what can I expect now (currently starting Docetaxol, had one appt of 10)? Will they use radiation or surgery?
