docetaxel
which finished at the end of November. His mets in general have reduced significantly in both the liver and lungs. His PSA was <0.02 in November, taken on the same day as his last cycle of

Next Move
Guidelines point to
docetaxel
or Jevtana, but still stuck on those neuropathy side effects. I feel that if I see increased neuropathy from the chemo it will be the end of my mobility, as I have gone from cane to rollator since the cancer was diagnosed.

Has anyone with ischemic heart had chemo with docetaxel?
My MO wants to start me on
Docetaxel
in a week. Has anyone with ischemic heart had the same treatment? What are the risks?

Another victory for "triplet"therapy for newly diagnosed metastatic men.
All 1,306 patients treated from 2016-2018 were randomized to receive darolutamide (DARO) or placebo (PBO) on top of
docetaxel
and ADT.

Not the best news I've had
Upshot is that the alternative now is chemotherapy with
Docetaxel
and Nintedamib. The side effects look very severe to me!! I'm swinging between just not having any further treatment and taking things as they come and enjoying life and having the treatment.

Chasing rivals, Bayer files Nubeqa for new prostate cancer
The latest filings for Nubeqa in the US and Europe are based on the ARASENS trial which showed that adding the drug to androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and
docetaxel
chemo led to a statistically significant improvement in overall survival (OS) compared to ADT plus
docetaxel
and placebo.

PSA Still Climbing - Scans Almost Stable
From all of your experience, when the PSA begins to rise after
docetaxel
, what have you guys found that has worked for you in addition to the Lupron/Eligard? I have tried Zytiga prior to
docetaxel
and it did not work at all.

My experience and my thoughts about undergoing radioligand therapy using the PSMA-617 ligand loaded with 177Lu and 225Ac isotopes. Part 1.
Having passed all standard methods of treatment: 6 courses of
Docetaxel
, hormonal therapy with anti–androgens of the first and second generation against the background of ADT, I managed to reduce my PSA to a value of 24 ng / ml with unchanged T = 0.087 nmol / L., which very soon began to grow rapidly

Psa slow increase
After
docetaxel
in the very beginning psa dropped from 900 to 1,5. In 2,5 years there is a slight growth - 1,5-1,7, now 2,1. Scans are stable. Is this a dangerous trend and time to switch to arbiraterone? Or it is still stable? He is going to scans in 2 weeks

Lupron and infusion (Taxotere/Docetaxel) on the same day?
Has anybody had a Lupron injection + taxotere/
docetaxel
infusion on the same day? Were the side effects worse or the same as receiving them separately, more than a week apart? I am scheduled for a double whammy in two weeks. Considering asking to postpone the Lupron by a week.

Treatment update... Back on the chemo
Nausea is a side effect I didn't have before on
Docetaxel
... They say probably from the Carboplaten... It shows up on the 4th through 7th day after the pre-infusion drugs wear off 72 hours after... The anti vomit pills help with that.

PSA Jumped Big Time in Last Month
From February to May, of 2021, I had five doses of
docetaxel
in addition to my Ellegard. The
docetaxel
absolutely beat me up, but I tried to continue my very active exercising lifestyle. From May until December, I was very encouraged that my PSA had stayed between 0.2 and 0.4.

My Jevtana/Carboplatin results to date. Plus participation in Bipolar Androgen Therapy testing
I also noted that cabazitaxel and
docetaxel
have not been compared head-to-head in combination with carboplatin and if the toxicities become limiting, I suspect that
docetaxel
may be slightly less toxic in combination with the carboplatin.

Progress with chemo
Hello again - I've finished three of the planned six
docetaxel
treatments at the Oncology Center here in Nicosia, Cyprus, where I live. The fourth is scheduled for Feb 21. After the first two treatments, my PSA fell from 58 to 20.

Keytruda + docetaxel
My MO suggests me to participate in Keytruda+

Carboplatin
My husband has been on Zytiga, Lynparza, Keytruda
Docetaxel
and now Jentava. He had a bone scan on Mon which showed some progression and the psa continues to rise. His CT scan showed a blood clot in each lung.
