PSA is increasing with Docetaxel, what should we do now ?
My father is now 66 years old, back in Dec 2020 he was diagnosed with Advanced PC now his PSA rised to 6.630 ng/mL on
Docetaxel
, what are our options given that my father is not in USA (in Egypt) ? or how should we proceed if someone has a positive experience after
Docetaxel
stop working ?

My life has gotten much more complicated since Abiraterone suddenly quit working about 6 months ago
There may be some
Docetaxel
in the near future to take care of the rising PSA. Eligard appears to be keeping the testosterone level completely under control.

Triplet Systemic Therapy for low volume mCSPC
The very recent ARASENS trial results helped me finalize treatment plan for low volume mCSPC —> ADT + Daralutamide + SBRT +
Docetaxel
. This aggressive plan would not have been the case months ago without the scans or trial results.

The Journey continues
Ten months ago after trying
Docetaxel
, Xtandi and just 2 cycles of Jevtana all since 2019, our oncologist said the only thing left to do was a clinical trial. We were referred to another cancer center that was a NCI center as the clinic we were at was not. A clinical trial was begun last August.

VERU-111 sounds promising, and may be a Godsend for those with very low blood counts who can't get other treatments
“As a benchmark, other drugs that have been used in these patients, like
docetaxel
chemotherapy or additional androgen targeting agents, typically achieve a median progression free survival between 3 and 4 months.

PEACE1 data now published
Interestingly,
docetaxel
did not add to the incidence of severe or fatal adverse events.

Next steps? Zytiga and Radiation
He also said
docetaxel
is on the table as well. He started with this treatment in July 2021 and it was really effective as lung and liver mets greatly decreased but he had pretty bad side effects. Based on what I've read, it seems to be the right steps. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

30 months with PCA - experiences with ADT, Docetaxel, Xtandi / Nubeqa, Provenge and experimental immunotherapy trial.
SoC was ADT and chemo (
Docetaxel
). His PSA started to drop after starting ADT and completing a round of chemo along with Cemiplimab. By August 2020 his PSA had dropped and stabilized at 2.

Life expectancy shock revelation
This would be after finishing
Docetaxel
then having 2nd line Cabazitaxel which would work for 14 - 16 months. I am completely shocked and I'm obviously looking to retire now. With me being so far down the treatment path it's so less likely his prediction will be wrong isn't it?

Adding docetaxel for BCR CSPC at 3-mo doubling rate
Third recommendation is 9 months of ADT + abiraterone +
docetaxel
. The addition of
docetaxel
is given the fast doubling rate and the fact that I am otherwise very healthy without symptoms.

HDR Brachytherapy after the 20 fractions?
Hi all I have recently finished 3 x Lu-177 and 3 x
Docetaxel
infusions whilst hormone sensitive. I have been on Degarelix since November so no idea what's doing what but but my PSA has fallen from 17.6 to 0.19.

He said if this fails my next step is
docetaxel
and lupron. All of this has me really nervous and I hope I'm getting the best advice from my MO. Thoughts?

Following Docetaxel
I read several months ago that some of you went back on Xtandi after chemo failed. Can I get some help on this. I'd like to try Xtandi again if my OC would agree.

My #1 support person & me
I’m enrolled in a clinical study and get
Docetaxel
and Radium 223. I have mild side effects from the treatments. I’m doing okay.
