Testing after taking new Cytomel / T3
Since T3 seems to be absorbed and work more quickly, would it be okay to get blood levels tested after 2 weeks of adding T3? Is that enough time?

My latest dilemma
I am at my wits end. I don’t remember the last time I didn’t feel tired. In March 2018 my blood results from my endocrinologist were as follows..I was on .125 synthroid TSH .48 (.45-4.5) Free T4 1.53 (.2-1.77) Free T3 2.7 (2.0-4.4) I asked if she would add T3 to boost it up into the higher range and

Did someone have problems with t4/t3 combo?
I am writing to find out, if any had issues with t4/t3 combo. It seems getting off cytomel has done something to my thyroid, it has not been a good thing. I am only on t4 right now, even though I am emotional better. I still feel bad, off the cytomel, it is almost my t4 to t3 conversion could be comprised

Is T3 a treatment for middle insomnia?
I am interested in knowing if there is anyone here who has used T3 to treat middle insomnia. It is known that the normal body raises T3 during the sleep cycle, and that this increase in T3 is necessary for deep, restorative sleep. I am looking for a couple things: 1) If you have used T3 to support

Could my severe and sudden onset of muscle weakness be due to being very hypothyroid for a while?
Could my symptoms all be caused by hypothyroidism? Here’s my story- I had thyroid removed for thyroid cancer in 2009. Last June I fainted and was hospitalized and found out my TSH was up to 17, so the doc increased my synthroid from 137 to 150. A month later the nurse at my regular endocrinologist office

Brought wrong thyroid medicine on trip.
Went out of town and brought my levothyroxine indeed of cytomel. I was switched because I'm getting ready for a full body scan. In a few weeks. Is it ok if I take my levothyroxine for 2 days.

Muscle weakness/pain thyroid related?
Last summer, after my TSH reaches 17 and I was hospitalized, my muscles suddenly started to feel weak and I eventually started falling while walking then running. My endo thinks that since she raised my dose of Synthroid I should start feeling better soon, anyone have any experience with anything like

TSH dropping but T4 / T3 not changing.
Was on 75mcg Synthroid + 20mcg Cytomel, but then due to hyper symptoms (multiple BMs, fast pulse, bad fatigue) and blood showing hyper my endo started cut back on meds. We slowly continued to cut back and the last step-down was from 50mg Synthroid to zero on Jan 1. I feel horrible now but endo says

Very Low TSH With Low T4
Your knowledge please for my 90 year old mother. Her thyroid labs show suppressed TSH 0.07 (0.45-4.50) & low T4 6.3 (4.5-12). She takes 45 mg Armour & 5 mcg Cytomel. Yes, too low of a dose. Though FT4 was requested by me, lab report is listed as T4, not total, not free, just T4. I have no idea what

Weight gain on T3
Hi everyone was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid/hashimotos over 3 years ago. I was prescribed Levothyroxine by my GP. I continued to put more weight on, it caused swollen ankles, water retention, itching etc. A year later I switched to ndt & lost 2.5 stone. After being on ndt for a few months
