Tremors and flutters.
Had a
Cardioversion
, heart rate not bad now but still got these awful symptoms. Could it be Atrial ectopics . Anyone else like this ?

A new experience!
I had my third
cardioversion
(alter 4 ‘failed’ ablations) a week ago today. I then enjoyed 4 days of NSR but on Sunday evening, my Kardia suddenly told me that the arrythmia had returned. Disappointment yet again!

Seen consultant yesterday and looking at upgrading PM to CRT (3 lead) and
cardioversion
also stated that cardiomyopathy could be an instigator. Had bloods taken but not sure what for, in permanent AF.

Does Flecainide Work for Persistent Afib
In February, I had a
cardioversion
after being in persistent afib for 5 months. While I was in NSR, I saw my cardiologist and he took me off of metoprolol and prescribed Ditilizem and Flecainide.

Monitor for Afib
Hi all,Having gone into permanent Afib after a covid infection with no previous history I've had a
cardioversion
whist on amiodarone. As far as I'm aware I'm still in sinus rhythm and now off amiodarone (thank goodness). I'm on the waiting list for an ablation.

Cardioversion with amiodarone or straight to ablation?
CV 24/2 failed after 1 week. Heart function team suggest course of amiodarone combined with further CV after a few months of this medication. They have left it with me to consider what I would prefer to do. Either proceed with the above ( with a list of potential side effects which are impossible

cardioversion
Hi everyone I had my
cardioversion
today and it was successful. Thank you everyone for your support and you were all right it wasn’t as bad as I had imagined. When the consultant came to see me before discharge he was a bit perturbed!

After discussing the options he recommended having a
cardioversion
which was performed on Monday and now I‘m back in NSR. I have to take Amiodrone for 2 months and Bisoprolol twice a day instead of once.

AF & Bradycardia

He is on the waiting list for a
Cardioversion
. After waiting 6 months for a second ablation and an 18 day trip to hospital for furosemide treatment they now seem to feel he is unsuitable for a second ablation although we can't see to get to the bottom of why.

Paroxysmal Afib Anlation6
In all I've had 3 major Afib bouts over the years involving evacuations and the last one a
cardioversion
. It was 18 months ago in California. Finally I was seen by a cardiologist in UK and he almost immediately offered me a further ablation saying something could by now need updating (my word!)

Exercise induced AF
I’ve had a great 4 years since my AF diagnosis, able to live pretty normally in terms of my choice of exercise with 3 years AF free following my
cardioversion
and just a few increasing episodes of paroxysmal AF in the last year.

Here We Go Again
Four days ago, I reported that after 4 ‘failed’ ablations, I had undergone a ‘successful’
cardioversion
for what my EP said was atrial tachycardia. For four days, I enjoyed normal sinus rhythm and a heart rate of between 50 and 70bpm. However, my joy was short lived.

An update
They tried to bring the heart rate down with a variety of drugs but unfortunately that all failed so I ended up having a
cardioversion
yesterday. It was definitely nothing to worry about and I did feel absolutely wonderful .

Work and health issues
My cardiologist is arranging a treatment plan which has been stated to probably include a upgrade to my current pacemaker to a CRT,
cardioversion
and possibly another ablation.

Ablation
However last march I went into highly symptomatic persistent AF which did not reverse before undergoing a successful
cardioversion
in August. I've been on amiodarone since then originally at 200mg and reduced in December to 100mg.
