Elective Cardioversion
Hi New to the forum. I had an elective cardio version yesterday which was a success. I’m 48 and have had AF for 5 months or so. All was good until today I got a notification on my Apple Watch saying AF had been recorded in the early hours. I’m a little worried that it has gone back (if it has)

Just when they think its all over.....
That triggered fibrillation which was fixed with catheter
cardioversion
. All has been great until the last month, no medication etc. Then out of the blue three episodes of fibrillation all at about 12.30 to 1.00 am. Fixed each time with 200 mg Flecainide as pill in the pocket.

BP & Pulse following Cardioversion
I had a
cardioversion
following a 999 call 2 days ago. Now home I find my BP 95/51 with a pulse of 56. Would this be the
Cardioversion
effect or drugs (only on 5mg lisinopril and 25mg atenolol so not heavy duty drug use) and apixaban. Also feel lightheaded.

Low Blood Pressure
I had a
Cardioversion
whilst I was in and my heart is now back in Sinus. This week I had a review following 16 weeks on a GP referral scheme at our local leisure centre. I have been doing an Aqua cardio session twice a week and really enjoying it.

Why ablation?
I had a successful
cardioversion
in May but a cardio consultant has suggested I may be good candidate for ablation! Not sure why.

CoQ10 "Snake oil" or not?
I am going for
cardioversion
on the 18th Sept. Is it worth taking CoQ10? There seems to be some benefit depending on which report you read. Anyone taking it? S1

Hi new to af
I’ve been told I’ll probably be having
cardioversion
, I also get the feeling I might be referred to a arythmia nurse so is that usually after the main appointment. Having asthma doesn’t help as inhalers increase heart rate too.

How do you get a cardioversion or an ablation?
How do I get to see someone who can talk to me about
cardioversion
or ablation. I feel like I've been abandoned by the NHS. Is it because of my age? I'm not ready to sit on the sofa in front of the TV all day. Thanks

Cardioversion doesn't work ?
I am new to afib (4 weeks) and I'm awaiting
cardioversion
but I keep reading it doesn't work. No doubt I will take my chances that I'm an exception but assuming it doesn't the next question is does ablation work? I'm hoping something works because I'm out of breath just doing the shopping.

BP worries
Sat here really worrying. Have been suffering from AF since May this year. Two failed cardioversions and waiting now to see an EP specialist. Started on Amiodarone in July and went back into NSR 11th September. The last week my blood pressure has been increasing daily. I am taking 5mg Nebivolol and 10mg

Ablation woes
He is putting me on a list for a
cardioversion
....6 weeks wait...and an ablation for atrial flutter..year wait. Currently breathless on exertion and have had to begin taking Omeprozole again for nagging pain in chest as I have a hiatus hernia and this has improved a bit.

4 Month Post Ablation
As most of you know the ablation in April going well until I developed flutter on holiday in July having
cardioversion
done on lanzarote , I suspect through pushing a little to hard, too quickly, and then getting a chest infection which seemed to mess things right up.

30 second SVT after ablation ??
Hi all, Since my second ablation I have been drama free for 7 weeks ( I did develop several horrible AF episodes shortly after my ablation but they self converted without
cardioversion
😊).

So disappointed at my consultation
He said if I had a
cardioversion
I would have to have amiodarone. Does anyone know if that’s correct please? I had amiodarone after my second ablation and never want to take it again I felt so bad.

Bisoprolol and Heart Flutter
I don’t have another appointment with my Cardiologist before the
Cardioversion
which I now don’t know if I still need. I really don’t know what to do.

So many questions.....
He has raised the Bisoprolol to 7.5 mg and says he feels another
cardioversion
won’t be much use as I have an enlarged upper chamber(?) so prone to A-fib, though the heart itself is not damaged.
