‘You will never run again’, he said! Ha!
This mountain plateau-esque image represents 20 minutes of slow (Japanese style slow) jogging. Which feels like a real achievement. Hello - So my third post ADT initiation (Lupron+Abi) PSA test is coming up and since it was <.1 six weeks ago, I asked how the criteria of “has stopped working” works -to my Hopkins MO and I got this - “We want to declare a therapy no longer effective when PSA is clearly going up. We look for 0.3

Dianogest and sore and painful tongue and throat

I’ve struggled with these for about twenty years and they have diminished over time. However, since going on preds, just over five weeks ago, they have got worse. ADT and crying
Does anyone else that has been on ADT drugs for years have trouble with tears or crying for no real reason? I tear up anymore at just the thought of something sad. It’s a major pain in the ass, not to mention embarrassing because I am still employed. Wondering if there is a solution other than stopping

Still confused about PSA and Testosterone testing
I have been reading posts here for some time and there seems to be a split between those who only get PSA tests each time they go to their doctors and those that get both tests each time. I had a baseline testosterone test before Lupron and before radiation. I am now doing my 6 month follow up and

First DEXA shows osteopenia - hoping for some advice please
Hello everyone, this is my first post to Bone Health, but I have posted to other Healthunlocked forums recently as I’m trying to work through my various health issues. I’m in the UK and hoping to get some advice from those more experienced than me please. I paid privately for my first DEXA scan in April

The past July and August show an unexpected very strong improvement in my PD symptoms, without any changes in my supplement list. Meanwhile, my CD-LD dosage did reduce significantly. BTA and 'T3 does not cross the placenta'
The BTA guidelines on liothyronine state 'T3 does not cross the placenta'. There is some truth in this in that type 3 deiodinase (D3) in placenta converts T3 to T2. However, they fail to point out that D3 also converts T4 to rT3. The transport of T3 and T4 across the placenta is very complex but the

CBC test anemia: high MCV, MCH, low RBC and leukocytes?
Writing for my partner, who is exhausted and down after 5 months ADT and 28x radiation. Returning home he went for CBC, and it came back high MCV MCH, low RBC and leukocytes. His primary w/0 knowledge of cancer tx says nothing. I'm not content with this, I hate to see my partner so tired and unenthused
