Confusing blood results
I've been on NDT Armour for 14 months, titrating very slowly (1/4grain every 2-3 months). I've got on well with it, having gradual improvements with each increase. I can't get my head around these latest results, my FT4/FT3 is looking similar to where I started in July 2023. Both had increased through

Got 1st blood results since starting Ndt, my T4 is down and T3 up, should I increase NDT or try LDN?
Hi, I've been on NDT 2 grains for almost 3 months now. After 3 weeks on it, I started to feel worse & so I started taking full dose first thing and chew tablets now. I've started to feel a bit better in the past 2 weeks and have had a few days where I don't feel like falling asleep and can do a 10 min

Just got me thyroid test results. TSH 0.01 ( 0.3-5.0) T4 5.7 pmol (7.9-16.0l T3 3.5 (3.8-6.0) These are all below reference range so abnormal. GP will retest in 6 weeks and may consider prescribing Thyroxine if needed. Told me my thyroid is suppressed. How can it be suppressed if the levels are all

conversion
hi everyone I posted previously about my blood results (ft4 19 (12-22). Ft3 5 (3.1-6.8) I was advised that my conversion is really poor and asked to get some vitamin blood results and come back with them. They have come back this week and I have posted them below , is it ok if someone checks them

Insights on 4 years of results?
Hello to everyone on here. Does anyone have any insights to share on my results, please? I'm due another blood test with my GP next week and I have asked for a full thyroid panel, but so far they haven't agreed to that. I asked last year too, but they were only willing to measure TSH. I have read on

Blood test with reverse T3 and thyroid antibodies
What companies might be best for this test please? however, need a blood draw not a fingerprick draw as it doesnât suit me.

I am lost, should I seek a second opinion?
hi, this will be a bit of a long one sorry. I am really confused and donât know whether to accept my gps answer or go private for a second opinion. My issues started more noticeably in October last year when I started heavily bleeding and having long periods and very short periods of time of not bleeding

TSH and blocking TRAb
Further to a recent post by HealthStarDust on TRAb results and a discussion with tattybogle and pennyannie as to whether having blocking ABs dominating would give high or low TSH, I posted a question on Elaine Moore forum. The following is her reply :- About 20% of patients who move into remission using

Hi everyone. I had a total thyroidectomy 5 weeks ago today and was wondering if anyone else has had the same operation that I can ask questions about. I felt fine after surgery for around 2 weeks but then hit a brick wall, I was tachycardic, sweating, shaking, palpitations, felt woozy etc and I think

Hashimoto's Confirmed... now what?
Hi All, I have been suffering from ill health for a very long time, ~10 years. I had an ultrasound scan on my neck to monitor an enlarged lymph node, the scan also showed I had damaged to the right lobe of my thyroid. I went to the GP, who then ran my bloods: TPO Ab: 220 ku/L TSH: 2.81

cortisol blood test tips?
Any suggestions to adhere to for â9 am cortisolâ blood test being done at 7.40 tomorrow? I believe it is regarded as Addisonâs or not, and nothing in between, so is there nothing that can be suggested to Gp if low but not too low? Did a private saliva test test some years ago now( pre covid) it was

Very fast pulse that I do not understand. Help!
I have somewhat neglected my hypothyroidism over the last couple of years to concentrate on my more recently diagnosed Pernicious Anaemia, Bile acid malabsorption and atrophic gastritis. I have been taking 100mcg Levothyroxine and 125mcg Levothyroxine alternating each day and that has seemed pretty

Rant about Gp lowering levo.prescription!
After a âwe will have to agree to disagreeâ face to face appointment with GP 7 weeks ago the next day he sneakily changed my levothyroxine prescription from 100 to 75 mcg, knowing full well the earliest I would able to speak to him( or another Gp) on the phone to argue my case/ complain would be 3+weeks
