During the trials for Forteo what percentage of the patients developed bone cancer and what type of bone cancer did they develop? Also has anyone taken it longer than 2 years?

MRIs to both hips showed bone cancer progression. We met with another MO and said he qualified for Pluvicto, that was almost a month ago. Finally after waiting and waiting the insurance denied it.

I have prostate cancer with met pelvic lymph nodes and met bone cancer. His partner wants to do a multimodal therapy. He said it would consist of androgen deprivation therapy, medication for the bony metastases (Xgeva) and oncolytic treatment.

The oncologist on duty at the hospital had an MRI done to show where the metastasized bone cancer is located while in the hospital. 41% is along the spinal area in the lower back. The current oncologist has determined the following treatments should be started to slow the cancer.

He has a particular interest in the molecular mechanisms of bone disease, how cancer spreads to bone, and what controls dormancy and reactivation of cancer cells within bone.

I see many people with bone mets advanced cancer say they took many sessions of radiation to the prostate. My MO’s never mentioned radiation ever , except spot radiation to pain spots in bones if any when that happens.

My bone cancer has plummeted, so my Achilles heel is the bladder. I suspect it will run away once the chemo finishes, spread, and be the end of me. If I lean on my oncologist and get referred to the urologist, what options do I have? Scraping? TURP? TURPT? Chemo bladder wash?

I'm wondering how common this actually is with prostate cancer bone mets?

Hello, my father suffers from prostate cancer with bone metastasis. He was taking Abiraterone, and because the cancer has advanced and his PSA has increased in recent months, the use of Abiraterone was cancelled. Now they have suggested chemotherapy with Docetaxel + Celendronic Acid.

I am wondering if anyone has had this surgery,I need to have it carried out with an iliac crest bone graft and tendon transfer. I have exhausted all other avenues. If anyone has experience with this I would be interested to hear.

In the past had XRays, MRIs, scans for bone cancer which all came to nothing. Anyway, happen to have a follow-up with Rheumatologist this week and asked him if my rib pain could be due to UCTD.

ER/PR positive HER2- Diagnosed 2019 primary breast cancer. IIIB chemo/infection/mastectomy radiation. 2021 - MBC bone Ibrance /Faslodex 2023- primary Lung Cancer/RT upper lobectomy March 2024-progression Orserdu. May 2024- major POD bones & liver May 2024- to begin Tredolvy.
