Sitting here musing...
Forgive me, but hazy weather has me sleepy and reflective. For instance why do Azithromycin tablets ..appear in packs of four when everyone I know take 3 a week, why not packs of 3? Or maybe 6 to save money on packaging, Where is the white dress i took out of winter storage this morning especially

Cimetidine and Erythromycin
Has anybody had to take Cimetidine and Erythromycin at the same time. I’ve picked up an infection and have been prescribed these antibiotics but am concerned about any interaction with Cimetidine. Thankyou.

What is the constant feeling of something stuck in my throat. Constant need to clear throat, hard to eat. Please help!!!
My doctor put me on back to back azithromycin dose packs. It’s been almost a month since my last dose. Along with severe anxiety, towards the end of my treatment I felt like I have something stuck in the back of my throat and it continues constantly. When I eat now it feels like I’m choking almost, like

COVID-19: Brazilian CT using chloroquine + antibiotic azithromycin stopped due to fatal heart complications
I posted earlier a warning from the American Heart Association to be very careful in using chloroquine or its derivative hydroxychloroquine if you have a coronary risk factor especially as a PwP. The Brazilian CT (n-81) was a decent sized trial without a control arm. They used chloroquine plus AZIT,

Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin for COVID-19: cautionary warning from American Heart Association
If you have Parkinsons (note that PwPs were excluded from French trial) with cardiovascular complications, this warning is something to think about before using hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to prevent or cure covid-19. Do yourself a favor and think twice before going that route. "Hydroxychloroquine

Lupus Research Alliance of America: Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) Shortage
As you know, because of the possibility that

Hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin: reservations continue about French trial and this treatment protocol
I have commented about this French trial and the principal investigator's approach several weeks ago when it first came out, and as most of you know, I had serious reservations about it. However, I am providing other perspectives which have recently been published. Let's hope the larger trials resolve

Had symptoms of swollen tonsils, aching and not well for sometime, but HIV 4th generation duo negative, day 17, 31, 60 and 82. HIV + or -?
What do you guys think? I’ve had swollen tonsils for some time, headaches, night sweats and just wasn’t feeling well for several weeks. The possible exposure (unprotected sex back to back nights) was from a girl who I got in contact with she tested negative 4th generation at 52 and 80 days post her

Shielding Question
I receive treatment under a hospital consultant for my asthma. I've had 4 ICU admissions in the last 2 years and take Fostair 200/6 (4puffs a day), 5mg Prednisolone daily, Spiriva, Montelukast, Azithromycin and Carbocisteine. I haven't had a letter or a text saying I'm in the vulnerable group but that

Coronavirus drugs: Where we are and what we know
Coronavirus drugs: Where we are and what we know by Amina Khan Medicines designed to treat COVID-19 won't be on pharmacy shelves for months or even years, but thousands of patients are in hospitals and health clinics now. So doctors are looking to drugs that are already approved for treating other diseases

Hydroxychloroquine against Covid19 AND against prostate cancer
In France the hospitals are now allowed to treat Covid-19 patients with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin after a very tough battle between an anti conventional professor from the university of Marseille, Didier Raoult, who is slandered by his greedy for money parisian competitors, paid by big pharma

Cautious but interesting article regarding hydroxychloroquine (and azithromycin)
Thought I would share this article I received this morning in my emails. Cautious hope and thought some of you would be interested to know about it, especially since quite a number of us are already on one or both of the above meds. I take azithromycin due to bronchiectasis and repeatedly getting infections

?shielding?
Hi, sorry once again another post about shielding or social distancing. I take symbicort 200/6 2puffs twice a day, montelukast, azithromycin 250mg daily, uniphyllin 600mg daily and 60mg I have been social distancing for just over a week but should I be shielding? My asthma is reasonably controlled
