Need advice to on bronchiectasis
Hey everyone, first post here. I have had mild bronchiectasis since I was around 16 (16 years ago) when I had pneumonia. Since then I have managed pretty well with just 15-20 postural drainage every night, and around 1 infection a year that clears up quickly with antibiotics. However this year has been

Effects of past chlamydia on fertility now.
I contracted Chlamydia from an ex about a decade ago. I had it for a duration of 9 months max, 3 months minimum. I had bad UTI symptoms (diagnosed by Dr as UTI) which were cloudy urine, sometimes it burned to wee and back pain, treated by antibiotics which got rid of those symptoms, but had a sexual

Past chlamydia, now TTC. Depression and fear. Success stories?

Yeast infection, but not exactly?
Hello everybody, I am new here :) I am 28 yo, struggling with an incredible annoying problem since almost 2 months. My glans is itching, tingling and I have urge to pee (with no much pee to be done). I don't have any external sign (blister, soreness, thrush, nothing). At first I thought I had Chlamydia

Chest infection
My gp has put me on erythromycin 500mg four times a day for chest infection with copd. Is this a lot as I'm only normally put on half that amount. I've been worried sick and have only taken 1 today as I've had pain in my upper back and shoulder .

Azith Holiday
Hi guys, a month ago I was due to begin a 3 month holiday from Azithromycin, as discussed with my consultant who was pleased with my progress but concerned about my hearing as I have developed Tinnitus. (We all know about that side effect). Anyway a week before the holiday, I had been for my bone scan

Anyone familiar with Mepolizumab (Nucala or Xolair)
I am writing to get some information concerning either Nucala or Xolair. Both are new biologics for treatment of asthma and are injected every 28 days. I am usually a lurker (in the US) but read many posts here, usually daily. My only post before this had been concerning Azithromycin. A little backstory

PCD Management Advice
I have 2 children. A girl who just turned 5 and an 18 month old boy with suspected PCD. The consultant is treating them as such. We are trying to get to HSC funding to go to the UK to get tested - living in cork, Ireland. They did the test with the nose brushing on the 2 of them and it came back inconclusive

Azithromycin 500 mg for 14 days...is that to much for chlamydia pneumonia bacteria
My new doctor just prescribe this to me because of my blood test. He said that I did have chlamydia pneumonia bacteria at one time. I guess I might still have it according to my test. Is this normal for that type of bacteria?
