I’m in need of some help/advice please!
I’m taking painkillers and I have
Avamys
spray for the sinusitis but it’s not touching it. This has all been going on for years and I just want to feel well and know that if I arrange to do something I will have the energy to do it.

Non-allergic asthma reacting to something on a high pollen day...
Twist is I *do* have hayfever and take fexofenadine and
Avamys
which generally control it - so how correct are those tests, I wonder? Have done some reading, and it seems hayfever plus non-allergic asthma is possible.

Avamys alternative
I have post nasal drip which at present is being treated with
Avamys
. I have had one month with 2 sprays once a day then I reduced down to one spray then stop. I was told to come back to the Doctors after a month. Its been 5 weeks and I still have post nasal drip so going back to the doctors.

Tip(??) Avamys - Nasal Polyps & Asthma
It 'seems' to be the case that a change in the way I use
Avamys
is (a) helping to maintain my sense of smell / taste and (b) (Possibly) improving my Peak Flow. If you use
Avamys
you might want to try this for a few weeks to see what effect it has. It's simple.

Nasal polyps diagnosed this morning
Then switching to
Avamys
for two puffs once a day for a month then down to one. I have also been asked if I taken asprin at all. Probably ounce or twice in my lifetime. Usually stick to paracetamol and ibropren. I understand that there may be a connection to this.

Strange smells again 😷🤢
I asked the doctor about it and she changed the steroid nasal spray i used to a different one ,
Avamys
. This worked and the phantom smell went away . Now for some reason the smell of smoke is back with a vengeance , i can even taste it .

Thank you :) (For everyone who helped on my most recent post)
And I got a nice lecture on compliance and taking the inhalers properly to boot :P Got my nasal spray changed to
Avamys
from Flixonase; preventer is now Seretide; daily antihistamines; Montelukast; and obviously Ventolin. We're going to try this for a month and see how things go.

Help!!
He takes the brown preventer inhaler morning and night, a nasal spray -
avamys
morning and night and also the blue reliever when he needs it. He has started, for the second night now, to get a high temp at bedtime, coughing uncontrollably until he is sick and the blue inhaler doesn’t seem to help!

Rhinosinusitis
He basically feels that it's just my asthma causing the sinus problem and vice versa and there is nothing really more I can do other than keep taking
avamys
nasal spray & inhalers. It has really been getting me down & I guess I'm fed up with people always thinking I have a constant cold!

Hope and inspiration
My medication was 20 mg methotrexate weekly and 40 mg prednisilone during excarcebation inhalers and
avamys
for my sinus. Also hay fever medication. I managed to struggle during the years at work but retired at 60. I'm much better now and improving as time goes by.

Hello Asthma friends
They have insisted on the steroids nose spray
Avamys
, Nasonex was giving me nose bleeds. If not still going to the hospital gym twice a week and having physio once or twice a week. Moving certainly helps.

When to worry about a cold
I also take montelukast and
avamys
for my rhinitis and fexofenadine for urticaria (I've had allergy tests and all came back negative, but in any case the fexofenadine should cover that). Today I woke up feeling like someone was sitting on my chest and my lungs feel really really scratchy.

Chronic cough Syndrome
At the moment I am using a Nasel spray called
Avamys
for a month this also seems to be not working. I cough in the day and at Night. I cannot remember the last time I had a good Night's sleep. Have also tried Herbal products and Acupuncture. This is really affecting my quality of life.
