Feel Terrible - Any Advice Please?
I'm weaning onto
Armour
Thyroid
, guided by a doctor. I've been raising my dose by only 1/4 grain every 2 weeks, this slowly because I have low cortisol. The first two raises I had a few days of feeling jittery but this calmed with the help of taking ashwagandha and taurine.

How to obtain NDT (e.g., Armour/ERFA Thyroid)?
Hi, I have autoimmune hypothyroidism and I'm currently taking levothyroxine (25mg), but I've read that some people prefer taking NDT. I'm thinking of getting a prescription for NDT from a private UK doctor, but I was also wondering if I could get NDT from a reputable online source without a prescription

Armour Thyroid Tablets
I was taking
Armour
thyroid
2 grains daily for approx 10ths and doing really well on it but the cost became too much. I’ve tried a product available in the U.K. at a much lower price but just don’t feel settled on it.

Hashimoto’s help
Hi, I’ve been taking two grains of
Armour
Thyroid
for a while now and had been feeling well. When I had blood tests in February my T3 was optimal for the first time.

High Ferritin & more weird symptoms
I'm managed to slither along under the radar for years and years because I've done well on
Armour
thyroid
and not on T4 alone, but now I'm scared that the doctor will insist I see an endocrinologist and they will not allow me to continue on it.

Does anyone know of a connection between undermedication and histamine intolerance, or if there are histamines in Armour thyroid?
I (re)started on
Armour
thyroid
5 weeks ago under the guidance of a private consultant, after 2 years on combined synthetic therapy under NHS hospital endocrinologist.

How can I improve?Any recommendations for debilitating fatigue?
I'm now on two grains ( I was on 2 and half before and tried one only but my GP recommended 2) of
Armour
thyroid
(one in the morning and one in the afternoon), and still feeling knackered. I'm also taking HRT, selemium, vitamin D and C.

New member, looking for alternatives to Thyroid-S
I tried Thiroyd first because it contained less fillers than
Thyroid
-S. It was better than
Armour
or Erfa, but still not optimal. I then reluctantly switched to Thyroid-S. I say reluctantly because I had seen the long list of fillers. But it worked wonders for me.

For my fellow Restless Leg Syndrome sufferers
At follow up appointment to discuss results with Neurologist I mentioned that my RLS symptoms had slowly got better ( although not gone) as I increased my
thyroid
hormone - I’m on
Armour
Thyroid
NDT (still not yet optimal after 2.5 years, but slowly getting there) and high- dose magnesium.

IVF when on NDT/Armour
Hi all, I'm considering starting another IVF cycle but i'm now on NDT/
Armour
Thyroid
. I've got Hashimoto's. My TSH needs to be 0.38-2.5 for me to start treatment, but my last bloods showed my TSH as under 0.38 because of the T3 i'm on.

Are test results important or how you feel?
I’ve been taking
Armour

meds since May after being on Thyroxine for 30 years. I’ve been feeling not too bad, got more energy and motivation and lost weight.

Any Advice On Dosing NDT?
I've started
Armour
thyroid
. My first dose I take at 7.30am (on waking) and have breakfast 9-9.30am (a late breakfast because I benefit from doing a 14 hour intermittent fasting window). My doctor advises I take my second dose of NDT 2-3pm.

Need Help understanding my Lab results
Upon taking
Armour
Thyroid
(60mg), I noticed my hair fall out got 100% worse. After reading the side effects, it seems this is a major side effect that can last months.
