Apokyn

I finally decided to try meditation and mindfulness and I stopped taking the Apokyn. My meds seem to be working better . I firmly believe that overcoming the anxiety through meditation and mindfulness has been better for my health than the Apokyn.

I must have signed up for the information on a “bad” day (i don’t remember signing up) because i received a call from a very nice man yesterday who spent an hour reviewing my situation and suggested i might look into Gocovri or Apokyn for off times and mild dyskinesia…and that he would pass this on to

MY Dr prescribed Apokyn shots for when this happen. Does anyone take Rytary and it makes your mind so anxious you can hardly stand the anxious feeling that you get?

Laurie Mischley suggested I might want to try Apokyn first thing in the AM. Not sure I can afford it but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this. I use magnesium oil and it helps a little for a short while, but not a solution. I also take magnesium supplements.

I usually have to have an APOKYN injection to be able to move well again' It feels like a panic attack but I am not sure. I can someone explain what is involved in freezing in Parkinson's? what are the actual physical symptoms? I thought I knew but I am now confused. Thank you....

Now my attacks have gotten so bad that i often have to have shots of Apokyn to make the Rytary work. The Apokyn makes me feel like i am going to throw up, clammy and sweaty and at times makes the room spin.

I am due to be fitted with a pump for administering Apomorphine (ApoGo) but I am unsure about potential pitfalls & also the potential benefits. Is there anyone out there who has tried the pump? If so would you be prepared to share your experiences with me? I like to go into new situations as fully prepared
