Is anyone else trying the new medication Apokyn? It's given in the form of an injection. I started it 3 months ago.

Did clinical trial . It made me sick and it only worked for an hour and doing this 5times a day . I stopped this hope it works out for you!

My neurologist has put me forward for it . I'm seeing my parkinons nurse tomorrow and she is going to sort it out for me. But first I have to have an ECG.

How are you getting on with it? Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm in the UK and tried googling Apokyn and all I got back was a similar word starting with E which was an injection for cats! I presume you are In the US - can you give me any more key words to use in my google search?

OK thx - I know of it and friends who use it with a pump - they seem generally happy with it
