Just started taking Apokyn for Parkinson's Disease. Anyone else taking this drug or heard about it?

I just stated taking injections of a drug called Apokyn. It is a filler for when my Rytary doesn't work to get me from an "off" period to my next Rytary dosage.

Anyone else taking this drug or heard of it?

Apokyn is apomorphine and not a drug I have used. I am on Stavelo.

I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s a great rescue med. Last night I had trouble sleeping and for the first time I used it for help with that and it made me more comfortable and I was able to sleep

Does it cause Nausea?

Have been using it for several months. No nausea. Do not like how it makes me feel even at lower dose. Worked up to 12/13/14, made me very dizzy and brain storm, even at 8 still very uncomfortable, even on full stomach. It drops me hard where C/L pill are somewhat gradual. I'm discontinuing it.
