Travel Insurance and Asthma medications...
What about
antihistamines
- again don't treat the asthma but do stop the allergies that does provoke the asthma? The insurance question asked btw is: . How many medicines do you take for your asthma (count each inhaler as one medicine)?

I have to stop my
antihistamines
for 3 days so I can have my pinprick allergy tests done again next week. I thought why not try stopping them completely so I stopped them on friday. By yesterday I was like a chimp with lice!

Having stopped antihistamine: Itching
Having stopped antihistamine under cons guidance on Tues last pill was Tuesday am. Today my face and lips are at mildly tingling like you have a hair touching it to the point of itching. Mainly around my nose and lips. Does this make sense to anyone?

peakflow improved since having steroid nasal spray
Does anyone share my experience? I was using salbutamol a lot and GP was not sure why. Anyway, he changed my nasal spray and eye drops to steroid rather than antihistamine ones, and I have used the salb. far less and my peak flow has improved. I also take loratadine every day. Maybe it is coincidence

IgE blood test
Hi, Going for an IgE and allergy blood test. Will my medicines - inhalers, antihistamine, montelukast, nasal spray - affect the results? Do I need to stop any of them or do I just take them all as normal? Thank you!

Hayfever meds?
I ended up at the docs the other day 'cos my eyes swelled shut and although I've tried so many of the available over the counter
antihistamines
and none of them work he just told me to double my dose and add in (another) course of pred.

Pollen/antihisamines
The pollen and my lungs really haven't got on well this weekend. Sounds like I'm not on my own! I'm taking fexofenadine for it. Its working better than loretodine (sp?) and another the GP has tried me on but not keeping me clear. Are there any other antihistamine options others have tried, with some

Advice please, pain in ribs!!
My doc changed my meds, changed
antihistamines
to Telfast and Piriton, 4 puffs daily Fluticasone 250mcg. I improved a little but slowly got worse and had Oxis Turbohaler added.

Drug questions
Or Atarax
antihistamines
? Cons has put wrong dose of atarax on note for GP but had them ONCE before so should be on file! I am really nervous about the new steroid tablets but its possible I am resistant to the pred! Also the new one doesnt have the fluid retention side effect!

unsure wether this is true or not but......
A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever. hehe katie xx http://www.santabanta.com/trivia.asp?catname=at&title=Restricted%20Trivia

Rant about hayfever
So much as I'm really glad that the sun is shining again, my hayfever has been bad for the last week - 10 days even though the pollen forecast says the count is low. I'm taking fexofenadine and nasonex on top of my inhalers and have been since the beginning of March. Yet if I go outside/open any windows
