Blood test timing dilemma: advice please
Can you help me figure out how to get round this one please? The last few times I’ve done blood tests, I’ve followed the process advised here and done the test as early in the morning as possible. However, my endocrinologist had a bit of a hissy fit at this (the timing, not that I waited till after

Really struggling
I have not been able to take thyroxine when I was diagnosed in March 2021, ended up on low FODMAP and with a homeopath and naturopath but went from 9 st 5 to 7 stone 11 when doctors got concerned. Every time I tried to include a food back in diet I was worse. Started thyroxine liquid in September 2023

phosphate
Good Evening, a little question. I was reading an article about white and whole grain bread. I believe with CKD it is advised to eat white bread due to lower phosphates. The article said that this is not always the case, as although whole grain has more phosphates we only absorb 20-50% of the phosphates

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Frustrating GP appointment
I've been struggling with a return of some hypo symptoms since my tsh-must-be-in-range focused GP reduced my Levothyroxine from 100mcg daily to alternating between 100mcg and 75mcg. Since then I've had problems going to the loo, I've put on that much weight I can no longer fit into my jeans, I'm constantly

Levo increase needed
How can doctors expect hypothyroid patients to feel good with a free t4 at only 50 percent? Doesn't even make sense.

Yearly endo nonsense
I've given up ranting, this just seems to be yearly confirmation of what we are up against (sadly most don't get as far as Endochrinoloy. My GP surgery recently asked me to confirm my Levo dose? They prescribe it each month so is it compliance? I replied 150mcg Levothyroxine and 10mcg Liothyronine (I've
