Has anyone started V-0 treatment recently with positive results?
I am due to start OBIMUTUZUMAB & VENETOCLAX it next week after
Acalabrutinib
caused afib and I am on it 1/2 dose with 1 beta blocker and blood thinner that cause stress and fatigue. I would like to be reassured as at the moment I am a nervous wreck. Thank you.

Should you avoid caffeine while on Acalabrutinib?
My mom just started her treatment with
acalabrutinib
. She is a regular 1-2 cups of coffee a day drinker. The pharmacist told my mom to not drink coffee for the same reason she shouldn't drink grapefruit or orange juice while on the meds.

She asked if I had ever taken
acalabrutinib
to which I said no and I think i have heard that it can be taken in tandem with ibrutinib. Also said that I have heard about ventoclac which she said had been mentioned in their discussions.

Acalabrutinib treatment going well
I have been on one dose daily of
Acalabrutinib
for 4 weeks now and am doing quite well. The fatigue has improved quite a lot, although I won't be running any marathons, and I don't feel sick every day. So a good response in my opinion.

POST 6 CAR-T cell therapy
My expectation attending Clinic in August was to receive the results of my bone marrow biopsy and to check that I was still tolerating
Acalabrutinib
, perhaps with a view to another BM in a few months time.

Question: Any difference in Calquence (Acalabrutinib) capsules vs tablets
Recently, when we picked up my hubby's
acalabrutinib
pills and the pharmacy gave him pills vs capsules. My husband is doing quite well on the capsules. Should we be concerned? I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone and did you notice any changes?

Acalabrutinib/COVID/swollen lymph nodes under arm
Hi, I’ve been on
Acalabrutinib
for almost a year now. I have SLL. Everything had been going wonderfully, my lymph nodes significantly decreased in size, my 3-months follow up scan showed great results, my blood work looked normal, and the side effects were minimal.

PROPAFENONE, anti arhythmia meds to counter the side effect of Acalabrutinib on the heart.
Has anyone been treated for arhythmia while being on Calquence -
Acalabrutinib
to avoid going to ER?

Faster heartbeat with acalabrutinib?
I started taking
Acalabrutinib
about 6 weeks ago. The last few days my heartbeat has kicked up a bit. Nothing extremely high just on the high end of resting, around 70 to 90 beats a minute. I used to be around 60.

Holding Acalabrutinib for procedures, etc.
I’ve been on
Acalabrutinib
for 3+ mos and doing ok (still with high WBCs and lymphs but they’re starting to come down.) Bruising is worsening recently and so is joint pain! I have arthritis in both hands/thumb joints (as do so many post menopausal women.)

VENOTOCLAX +
Because of afib due to Ibrutinib and
Acalabrutinib
and visits in ER, my oncologist is thinking of a combo of Venotoclax paired with another med. Is anyone here on this treatment?

CLL survival times ARE improving, thanks to BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors
The even better news is that we now have second and third generation FDA approved BTKis, which have significantly lower adverse event and toxicity profiles -
acalabrutinib
, pirtobrutinib and zanubrutinib, with more BTKis and BCL-2is to come.
