My main worries with Lupus are my lungs and kidneys, I’ve been very ill with both yet my GP and doctor have been at pains to say they are def not Lupus related.
Last year I had such a serious kidney infection, both of them refused to treat me, wasting time with more tests (I’ve been admitted to hospital as an emergency many times). However, my previous doctor overuled them, rang me to say she was worried I’d have Sepsis my infection was so bad. My antibiotics didn’t work so I went elsewhere to and given antibiotics 3 times the strength, they worked.
My question is, I had a very bad bout of Pleurisy last year and have had a bad cough, downing in mucus and so breathless I’ve been afraid. For the last last month I’m getting those chest pains in the other side of my chest, I don’t have to be taking a breathe, it is like the start of it all. Can it come back so quickly?
My previous doctor rang me to say she could change it online so she could once again be my GP. The other GP said if I changed doctors in the surgery or went elsewhere she would stop all my treatments. I agreed to the change and U am having access to hidden MRI results etc that I have struggled to know about. The only problem is that my letters are still going to my old GP.
