Good job I waited.

As some of you know I didn't do my stretches last week as I was waiting to see what the physio had to say about them. It is a really good job I waited as on the stretch side of things I can do a lot less than what I thought I could.

One of the "stretches" they had me doing I thought was a bit tame. Hehe they know their stuff, today My muscles can feel it. All I had to do was sit and hold the inside of my knee and push my knee against my hand but not too hard. This very gently activated the core muscles and boy can I feel that today, also they have advised me to roll out of bed still as when I get up normally that is a bit too much of a strain on my stomach.

At the end of the day it is all good stuff, I'd rather get fit and well in a controlled way than go too fast and ruin the whole thing.

Hope your week is going well

Health and happiness Rfc x.

Some of the stretches from physio always seem not to do anything at the time, but they quite clearly work! Do what they say and you'll get there fit and well :)

I agree, they really do know there stuff, unfortunately one of the reasons they seemed to of affected me so badly was the next day I was to come down with the mother of all chest infections. First day out of bed today since I got it. It can be quite common after surgery, i will be taking it a bit easy for a little while longer I think 😀.

They are really good, they worked wonders for me and I was able to move on from them.
